Hi! Yes, so on our Disney excursion (taking the Twister speedboat to the private beach) we were told that if anyone stepped away from our group on the way there or back, they'd be forced to quarantine for the remainder of the cruise. We wanted to get some cool family photos with the ship in the background, but there was no opportunity because it would have required us to step away from the group. This all might sound silly, but it was one of our top pet peeves because we put a lot of importance on our photos, both for our episode thumbnails and for family memories. Thanks for watching (especially to the end)!!
Great video!! Doing our first Disney Cruise in March. Given what everyone is saying, the best idea is to reschedule, which Disney is allowing. However, the cruise was originally planned for March of 2020, and has already been rescheduled at least 3 times. My 7 year old daughter is anxious to go on the cruise. So, I guess we'll just give it a go.....
I’m sure you’ll still have a great time! Just wasn’t quite as enjoyable as our first Disney Cruise experience. Make sure to download the app before you go. It’ll be very helpful onboard! I hope your son loves it :)
Your video brings emotions because we did a similar cruise from Galveston to Honduras and Mexico on Royal Caribbean just before covid began. It was a great time, and our boys ask if they can have their high school graduation celebration on a similar cruise. Hopefully covid will end by then, but your travels during covid proves that life doesn't need to stop in spite of a pandemic.
Thank you for that. We agree that life doesn’t need to stop. In fact, the pandemic inspired us to get out in the world (once allowed) even more. You never know what tomorrow will bring and we want to show our kids the world while it’s still here. I really hope your boys get that celebration they’re looking for!
Yes, a lot of hoops and red tape. They even required a pcr test for the kids in a small window before we arrived, PLUS we were all tested again before getting on the ship. It’s then a big surprise that everyone still had to wear masks walking around inside the ship when everyone was tested so many times.
What a bunch of cute kids!😀
Thank you! 😊
Just found your channel and looking forward to watching more of your videos and your life style 👏🏻👍🏻
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy!! 🤗
First time here I thought you’d have millions of subscribers! You’ll get there one day - great vlog!
Thank you SOOO much for that encouragement! ❤️❤️❤️
Can you explain what you meant at the end of your video when you said something about not being able to step away from your party or family?

I bet you have great memories! It’s very different now with Covid.
I was told full vaccinated plus the two weeks of wait time for effectiveness for the kids. 🤷😵💫 So many hoops and red tape.
