Any issues like tight fit, loose joints etc?

The build is very good. No loose joints so far, though I only play with it a few times. Only experience having a tight fitting connecting the side thrusters on its legs. Be careful putting those parts. But once in placed, everything is good.

Did you sand any parts or its snapping all together?

Not that much. can only recall widening the peg hole on its legs' side thrusters. It's pretty tight on that part. The rest were all snap fit.

How was the quality of the water slides on this?

Hey brother, waterslide is unexpectedly good for this kit. still better to add top coat to avoid falling apart if you're fund of moving it often.
