Thanks Peter, It may look nice but does it work??? We will see in a few weeks. It is of no particular design - I made it up as I went along with the bits of stock I had laying around. It is way over size for the engine but I thought better too big than too small. If it works I will use at a 'test lubricator' that can be hooked up to any engine needing a steam test.
G’day mate that turned out very nice and it’s great to hear you voicing over the video, there is only so much 1812 overture you can listen to well done. I won’t be sending any photos of the Simplex for a while I’m going in for another total knee on the 21st of this month so I be laid up for awhile. Listen mate I can’t send you an email from my end I for some reason it’s only blocking yours, I receive them from you. I’ve tried all sorts of settings ect but it won’t do it I’ll ask around, anyway mate your whole project are terrific nice to see a bit of the work shop looks very clean stay warm and have a pint. PS I’ll be in touch soon kind regards John
Wow, that looks absolutely fantastic. The heads on the screws look really nice. You must be well pleased. I quite fancy trying out some silver soldering on a small scale. Could you recommend a torch/kit? Thanks for sharing. Andrew
Hi Andrew - thanks. The torch kit I use is a Sievert torch with three different sized nozzles. This is it gasproducts.co.uk/sievert-general-purpose-gas-blow-torch-kit.html?currency=GBP&gclid=CjwKCAiAy-_iBRAaEiwAYhSlAx5xbsoI5mvXjXA-Fyk6Xep5L6fcw2wM10jNLsFy0sOXMP_d5tcHFxoCDm8QAvD_BwE Just hook it up to a small propane cylinder and you're away. Cheers Craig
Nice little side project that Craig, it turned out shiny and neat ..... thanks for sharing

@@no23mk2 It should work, I can't see any reason why it won't.
I can't either, but I never call a job done until a successful field test has taken place....
Immaculate job!
Thank you Gary!
