Cute and very interesting. Pete must be the most well trained dog ever; between what he does here and in Our Gang, he is amazing. [I guess I should say "they" since there were several over the years in Our Gang].
Thanks for sharing! It's interesting to see Buster Brown doing the daredevil style of comedy like Harold Lloyd, and the whole thing with the scaffolding years before Laurel and Hardy did it in "Liberty". Even if both Buster and Tige ("Pete") weren't really as high as they appeared, it still looked very dangerous and unsettling for a child and dog to perform such feats. A fun short, though!
Is is any surprise that director Gus Meins also directed the Our Gang comedies? This is the 5th film in the Buster Brown series. A print of this and other silent films survive in the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum's Film Archive.
Very interesting. My Dad was born 1929 and was knicknamed Buster by his family at an early age. I can still recall so many of his Aunts, Uncles and my grandparents calling him that well into their 80s. I had never seen one of these until today. Who played Buster and what became of him?
Really well made- this comedy must have gone over really well with audiences in 1925. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Barry!

Yep, Pete was the best (although he does look genuinely scared up on those girders!)

That must be the first Pete from the Hal Roach Our Gang comedies ❤️
Thanks for sharing. These are great!
Thanks for watching! : )

Nice, Dave! Thanks!

It was Arthur Trimble, who was born in 1916 and died too soon in 1948.
Hilarious.
Do you have Buster's Nightmare please🙏
Afraid not. Not sure it even exists!

Why did buster look more like a girl?
