I find it interesting when reading the gospels to remind myself from time to time that Jesus only did and said whatever the Father told him to do and say. So there was a continuing conversation going on between the Father and Jesus. However the Father didn’t always give Jesus every bit of information. This may explain why Jesus wasn’t in any obvious hurry to get to the home of Jairus.
