Goff was a throw-in to get an extra first round pick. Had to make salaries match and it was gonna cost the Rams a first to make the Lions take on Goff.
Goff was not a throw in…. It was Stafford for Goff then the draft picks were added secondly… Michael Brockers was a throw in player. And, McVay didn’t send the picks because HE’S NOT the GM.. The Rams didn’t build the Lions foundation, Brad Holmes did because he was the one that made the picks. Stop.. The trade was not a Stafford for Goff thing. It was McVay giving a ton of draft picks and throwing in a QB. The rams built the lions foundation

Rams gave up a ton for a superbowl. Lions got a ton for a long term winning team chocked full of huge draft picks making a huge impact.
