Hi Kevin. You said you might do the Teide by Night trip sometime. We did it (and featured) on Andrew's channel in November. It's certainly different but it was freezin up there. Wee jumper or jacket required if you ever do! lol
Stayed at the Caribe in October had no problems except for a shortage of sockets and no hair dryer. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was lovely and quiet around the pool with no fighting over sunbeds.The rooms are basic but cleaned most days with plenty clean towels.The bus stop is just around the corner if you want to nip into Los Cristianos or Adeje and only a 10 minute walk to Adeje if preferred. It was my husband's birthday whilst we were there and he received a card and a bottle of bubbly which was a nice gesture.
Kevin, we stayed in the caribe as a stag about 20 years ago and it looks the same ,it was quiet when we stayed ,pool was warm which was a bonus for January, i got a room ground floor ,with horrible view of tennis court but a few got lovely high rooms with sea views in distance, we only ventured towards Veronica's so thats why i never took to it but now since recently i would definitely go again

I stayed in the ole tropical in the late 1980s it was a very basic apartment block called las Lannsa or something like that .nice to see it improved

I stayed in Caribe on my 1st ever holiday abroad in 1998. Place doesn’t look like it has changed🤣. Got a teletext deal for 2 adults for £137 each for a week!! Hated the apartment as had a basement one with a wall view balcony but as you say 10 minutes walk to strip. Also remember the road down to the strip used to have loads of “ladies of the night” shall we say

Ole tropical is an excellent hotel.excellent staff and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic holiday here.

Yaasss haha. Nobody can say you don't deliver for your subscribers 😁 Ole Tropical still looking as good as it was last June when me and Mrs was there. Staff very friendly, Buffet one of the best I've had in a 4 star. You should stay there one time kevin. The rooms are lovely for what you pay. Cheers for taking us round so I seen if it had changed. Just alot quieter in Jan obviously I see to June when we was there. Back this year, can't wait. Enjoy rest of your stay buddy 👍

We used to love Ole untill some one got into our room when we was visiting Tim. Staff was not helpfull at all. Anyone can walk in and get to any room from the front gate then go up fire escape. Never had any problems before some one got in room
Ole Tropical is adults only now
More towels than people at the pool.😂
I'd rather book an apartment somewhere and walk to the beach than staying at these kind of hotels.
