I've never heard anyone say that turn-based combat clashes with visuals.. That is not the reason companies moved away from it. It's because they thought it was too much thinking for the mainstream to handle. Turn-based combat perfectly. Compliments, high-fidelity visuals. Especially with special moves or summons like in Final Fantasy.

And a 1080p display on a much much better LCD screen is gonna look a lot better than people realize.

Getting near full BC compatibility with PSVR1 would be fairly easy to do. The real reason is the same as dropped support for anything old. They just don't feel the money is in it. And they may be correct. I still think it would seem an obviously good idea to probably sell quite a few more copies of Bloodborne due only to a simple 120FPS patch. But what do I know. Maybe most new players, if there ever be any, are actually thinking exactly the same thing Sony is.

I’d definitely like to pick up that Astrobot dualsense. I’ve been in struggle mode with my 2 current controllers. The all black controller’s left directional button stopped working on me during stellar blade and the original in box controller that came with my PS5 has a terrible battery, so I have to keep it plugged in to play reliably. I’d been looking at buying another, but the price kept me from pulling the trigger. Also, I’m definitely get MHW on PS5 day 1.

Nah, it won't. Switch still has 140M users, and not everyone is going to jump onto the Switch 2 the moment it launches, or even a year after. It makes more sense to make a Rise 2 that could still work on og Switch hardware, even if it runs at 20fps 480p.
We are right around the corner from August and still no substantial Switch 2 or any other Nintendo console. I think Nintendo is really pushing their luck. The reason the Switch sold so good was that the year 21-22 most people stayed indoors and not every household has 5 television sets in the house. They are pressing their luck. That won't happen again. And while Sony and X Box have next gen consoles Nintendo has the Switch. A hybrid that although was innovative now there are so many better hybrid options that make it look worse with every day that passes. I think that the more they wait the worst it will be for the company.

My Switch collects dust, but I still collect the physical games. Monster Hunter cover art doesn't look appealing to me, and I'm one who collects physical mostly on cover art, unless it's a game of heavy interest. Monster Hunter for what it is, isn't a game that has interested me in a long time.

I dont want Monster Hunter WIlds being on the Switch. it's a next gen game and the Switch cannot handle that. Sure Rise was above and beyond expectations to the point they went and ported to all other platforms but the Switch is a limtiing platform, it's not capable of handling a game on Monster Hunter Wilds level. It will probably be on the next Nintendo Console though.

I don't think I'll be getting Clair Obscure simply because it IS a Turn-Based RPG, which is why I have never played any of the classic Final Fantasy games. I am hyped for Astro Bot and the LE Dualsense.
Astro Bot VR is maybe the only VR game that interests me and apparently I couldn't play that on a PSVR2 anyway, so....

I’d definitely like to pick up that Astrobot dualsense. I’ve been in struggle mode with my 2 current controllers. The all black controller’s left directional button stopped working on me during stellar blade and the original in box controller that came with my PS5 has a terrible battery, so I have to keep it plugged in to play reliably. I’d been looking at buying another, but the price kept me from pulling the trigger.
Also, I’m definitely get MHW on PS5 day 1.

Monster Hunter Wilds would never happen on the Switch. It's insane that someone asked. Switch 2 on the other hand is likely to get MHWilds if the 12GB RAM rumor is true.

We are right around the corner from August and still no substantial Switch 2 or any other Nintendo console. I think Nintendo is really pushing their luck. The reason the Switch sold so good was that the year 21-22 most people stayed indoors and not every household has 5 television sets in the house. They are pressing their luck. That won't happen again. And while Sony and X Box have next gen consoles Nintendo has the Switch. A hybrid that although was innovative now there are so many better hybrid options that make it look worse with every day that passes. I think that the more they wait the worst it will be for the company.

My Switch collects dust, but I still collect the physical games. Monster Hunter cover art doesn't look appealing to me, and I'm one who collects physical mostly on cover art, unless it's a game of heavy interest. Monster Hunter for what it is, isn't a game that has interested me in a long time.

I dont want Monster Hunter WIlds being on the Switch. it's a next gen game and the Switch cannot handle that. Sure Rise was above and beyond expectations to the point they went and ported to all other platforms but the Switch is a limtiing platform, it's not capable of handling a game on Monster Hunter Wilds level. It will probably be on the next Nintendo Console though.
Trading in my OG controller to pick up physical astrobot once it's a bit cheaper. The Astro Bot controller will be a delightful addition. Got a bunch of Nintendo games to play in the meantime that scratch the itch.
