- Frank and I met the day before when I swimming with Dale in the hotel pool. He had never seen his new home that he and his wife bought sight unseen from USA. We catch up with them on their second day on the property. The construction finished just before the Typhoon hit in December.
Tim, enjoyed watching ourselves on your video blog. Thanks for the visit. By the way we loved being isolated by the Seaside. The people here are very helpful and accommodating.
Take care and best regards to you and your family.
Awesome to see you & Vhem’s adventures! The Lawhorn’s from Sarasota FL wishing you all the best
@@rhodewright Thanks Rhode. Perhaps we will see you guys out here some day. It is very far out but very beautiful.
Thanks for sharing your experiences with Tim.... your perspective is appreciated. I'm also trying to make sure I comprehend the math on the land... .so we're looking at $48K for a tenth of an acre? Thanks! Best of luck!
@@dbf5803 I'm sure price varies by location but this equates to about 2 acres seaside and we paid $50,000 for the land about two years ago.
Hope this helps
Best regards, Frank
Must be a great ocean view from the roof.
Take a shot every time Tim mentions he worked construction in a video
Beautiful wife. Beautiful life. God bless the Filipina who loves her family.
Nice Tim it’s been 2 years that last time I have watched your videos and now your back there and with a family , it was cool to see you back , its amazing !
Great show thank you
What a great adventure! Good call on the 4-wheel drive Toyota! Dale is getting big!
What a fun ride! You said, "Oh, yeah!" And Dale yells, "Oh no!" Too funny!
Nice couple. Their house and property are very nice. The floors were awesome too. That was quite a ride getting there. Enjoyed seeing you, Chrissy and Dale taking a family vacation. Hope to see more. I laughed so much when Chrissy had to clean you up and tell you something about getting dirty. Brought back memories. Used to think Dad’s couldn’t stay any cleaner than the children while misplacing things too lol. I guess Mom’s around the world just like the family looking presentable! 🤗
Wowow wide farming.. I watched until this video wow i dont what to say good farming i like the area fresh air... Good idea..
Thanks Tim, Chrissy, Dale and Your Fine Hostesses! I enjoyed the content.
Looks nice and relaxing there
It was and is very private and secluded. I felt like we were stranded on Gilligan's island. No T.V. and bad internet, we had no idea what was going on in the rest of the world. It was wonderful!
@@franktirelli Well thats good you likes and you are enjoying,Its very peaceful.I live in the country side in the Philippines and i love it because its away from stressful city. But I still miss my life in Canada though. What Im missing right now is a man with me.
Sometimes the greatest part of the adventure is the journey itself.
Nice 4x4 Tim !! Great show lad !
The house looks a lot bigger than 24' x 24' and $42,000 is quite expensive in Philippines standards.
I guess Frank has learned what the 3 most important things are in the real-estate biz, location, location, and location. Love the reference to Mr. Toad’s wild ride.
Beautiful. Love the dogs chilling wherever they can find cool.
Hahaha Dale is so cute in this video. 🤭😊
Great video Tim! Thanks! Dale is awesome!
That really wasn’t anything bad to go through. The Toyota is barely dirty.
Thanks to Frank for being such a nice guy and loyal Subscriber!
More content Tim I can’t get enough and I wanna see more 4x4 videos enjoy your Easter buddy godbless
Grab sum toyo open country’s or sum good mud tires
Those floors are like glass , beautiful !
. . . would be scarry anybody will slide . . .
They are tile. Seen them before in other homes.
Loved seeing the four wheel adventure - fun time 😀🤣
You didn't show us the beach.....seems like a nice house. Thanks for the effort it took to show us..😁
When your wife wipes the dirt on your leg then that’s the kind of woman you want to keep for life, that’s a classic Filipina trait long forgotten in today’s modern world my pinay wife would not even do that, she’s been westernized, what a lucky man you are Tim!
Beautiful property
My landscaping mind would be working over time... What a awesome property 😻
Thats very true
You must be happy you bouth a 4x wheel drive Tim! 👍 😀
Nice to meet your countrymen. Enjoyed watching your vlog. From California
Congratulations 👏. It's always good to own land. Y'all stay safe. God bless you all. 🙏
That's a great location, beautiful with exception to storms.
Talk about the boondocks....I'm guessing the grocery store is not around the block!
It is, but it is a very, very long block. With lots of muddy bumpy roads. The simplest of tasks are now exciting adventures.
That was so cool that answered my question if I need to bring my GMC Z71 truck to the Philippines and the answer is yes
Wow, My wife is friends with Frank and his wife, here in Texas. small world
Yes , small world or Tim has a big channel. So who might this be?
@@franktirelli Your wife knows my wife - Ruth
Why bread man. We’re you?
Beautiful road. Stay safe my friends. God bless you all. 🙏
If it were me I would have had my friend come and meet me halfway this way I know where I'm going anyway
Greetings from California
Would love to see a close up of the floor, it’s gorgeous
Any idea what he used as flooring?
I agree, the floors are beautiful
high gloss laminate
Tile
I saw parquetry in a video a few weeks ago. Amazing finish with polish. My future father in law has serious skills with woodwork. Many older filipinos do. One room in my future house will have it if I can not afford the whole house : )
@@TimKyoutube
I hope you study our law..
No foreigner can buy or own a land in Philippines.. . You can only buy if you are married to Filipina but you still don't own it your wife still the owner of land ..as long as your citizenship are change to Filipinos then you can have it..together with your wife.
Such nice people very welcoming, the house looked nice, really liked the kitchen/dining room floor, very nice as with other features of the home.
We just got back home to the states and miss it already. Hope for a quick return.
awesome car, through all that muddy road!
Great place and great price , beach access ? 👍😎
That's a really good truck you have.
I've done something like a 30 point turn on a narrow forest road a couple of times when I found out that continuing on wasn't an option.
ALOHA 🤙 brother keep up the work stay blessed
It's nice for farming, like eggplants for harvesting! And plants more lettuce thats really best way.
This is very interesting.👍👍
I love that 4X4 Banana. It can take you anywhere!
I love this video
Timbo cranking out the vids! Now if we can just get that llama loving Baldr to drop in
🤙
You are right about 4 wheel drive . Once you stop in the mud . You are screwed ! You must plow through it with some speed . I have seen it once in my life time someone got in a four wheel drive ; axle deep all because they stop in a middle of mud . Then they tried to turn around in the mud .... In my area we have farm tractors with track trend instead of wheels . A footnote ; your friend will need at least a couple tons of 4 inch rock ; then layer with a couple tons of 2 inch rock ; layer with a couple tons of 1/4" inch rock for drive way . Especially the bad area .
It looks like Tim commanding a M2 Bradley and now dismounted. Tim screw the GPS use the good old school trusted device Military Square Protractor :-)
Good video Tim! Nice place and nice people!
Another cool Video Tim ...The mudding looked fun. 😀
very true... only a woman that loves you who is also Filiipina will actually make sure you are clean, then show you disapproval for getting dirty.. :)
lol 😂 best part of the video when krissy FLEX on you tim😂😂😂 21:50
He should have elevated his rebuilt house above the storm surge.
Riding the Storm Out... Then Driving Afterwards.
Bohol so nice in tourism as well I like the place.
Kids are yelling slow down dont splash us. lol
Tim love the fj and the vlogs offcourse . But bigger tires for the muddy roads hahah . Keep it up and good luck to ur new friend . Sad he needed rebuilt his new house but wow amazing lot nice views
Yeah most people here rebuild new house after strong typhone odett last dec 2021 ..But we all thanks God we are survive but so sad other family loss thier families that area Ubay.. ..many house also. Damage..
Nice folks!
Mr Toads wild ride......Frog and Toad were our favorites when my daughter was little
Thats a good adventure Tim that road reminds me in my community in Samar way back 15 years ago when i was a high school we need pass bye that bfore we get arrive on our school walking 10 kilometers from home to school, and tell your friend that they have a nice place and absulutely peaceful, but bfore i forgot Bryan and Jodalyn from Ahern Family they where also leaving there in Ubay, but now they move in Tagbilaran if im not mistaken they have also a nice property there and you are both awsome family
Bohol is wonderful place 🌈🌈
Great video...but question, looks like you have car seat in car, why do you not use it for Dale's safety?
Culture
Then why have a car seat? Seems a waste of time and money if not used. Sorry safety first for your precious little boy.
Nice
Tim, ya need a set of Yokohama's 70% dirt/mud, 30% street treads lol Got a set right away for my old Vitara 4x4 suv because our mountain road down gets really nasty after all the rains !
Got stuck a bit once, with the old junk tires. Last uphill to our house, is maybe an 8% grade (6% at the least) Tried to get the clan up here to use my left over gravel to fill in the path hshaha
What will they do to protect the house from future storms and flooding?
We rebuilt the roof out of formed and poured concrete and also installed steel window grates that we attach plywood too as storm shutter's. If another typhoon the size of Odette occurs again then it probably is still not enough.
Victor Davis Hanson listener 👍🏼
Smart man.
Love it
every episode VDH!
@@TimKyoutube Thomas Sowell, Victor's colleague there great too
Gotta love 4 wheel drive...Indeed
yea Tim i have driven thru snow, mud and a lot more when i was driving tanks in the military, i got you beat ok hehe
Not judging anyone or their personal circumstances but I hope these foreigners who buy land There are able to sell it again for what they actually paid for it.
That is a nice thought but it is kinda like going to Vegas. Don't spend more then you can afford to loose.
Emaciated cattle. I was in the Philippines. My son in law wanted to cook steaks. He went to hypermart. He really knows how to grill. The steak had the texture of rubber. You could not chew it. Then I remembered some emaciated cattle on our way to a resort in Batangas. I should have said something before he bought the meat. Pork, Chicken and Goat are staples. Cattle are not.
Yeph... the US has ample of feed supplies such as hays, soy, wheat, corn and whatelse they can import even from mexico... The Philippines has very little landscapes for the cattle owners to use to supply for their feeds.. Most of these cows just eat the grass without the other options why they are far less skinnier than the ones in the US. the landscape availability, financial assistance all play roles in cattle farming.
No grass fields there. No grass, no cattle.
I loved thier home..Nice people. Good driving, Tim !
Thanks Lisa 😀
Been a long time since I’ve seen your channel. Looks like you’re doing ok. Thank gosh.
The Filipina Pea just Rocked a Beautiful House. Get dizzy Tim!! 😁
Philippines has beautiful landscape ❤
Philippines is one of the best places to own an FJ cruiser, you will really use the 4WD and have fun with it. Over here in the NJ , you have to pray for the snow to come for you to use it , or you can go to someone else's farm just to get it muddy. FJ cruisers are getting extinct in the market and my chance to own one is to buy it in the Philippines . Im hoping to find one when I get back home this year.
learn from your mistake if their old house got flooded then elevate with the new house
Great property, just need to fix the drive. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Such a nice couple!
Fun vlogs like always ❤️👍🌅
Wow 😮 I never seen Ubay I knew of this place in 2010 from a Pinay friend. I just went to Carmen to see chocolate hills and panglao.
19:50 "The Putin Price Hike" 😂🤣😂🤣

Hey Tim my dear friend, Awesome video as usual brother.

Nice couple, was wondering if they knew the property was kind of off the grid. Is there a surf in front of their property? Lots of ocean views! Thanks for the video, very interesting!!
Unfortunately I had a camera malfunction and missed the beach footage. No surf.
@@TimKyoutube thanks!!
Beautiful home view but OMG if they ever needed medical assistance. 😰💦
True!Thats my problem cause I live in the countryside in the Philippines
@@cecilemovilla4656 Gd Bless!! Be safe! Be Well! Enjoy! Mabuhay!!!
Awesome video Tim
New tires always grip well, try it in a couple of years. Lol
Switching differentials on the fly , wear faster , better to to have it on Park or Neutral next time switching to 4wd , only awd are meant to switch on the fly typically switchover slower speed on take off, also deactivate the anti-slip anti-swerve when switching to offroad.
Only advice , to save you problems and money later on. Love the ride Tim. Tint windows are a Godsend on that bright day eh? See the puddles and grooves better
Cool video. It was cool to hear Frank and his family discuss their situation.
Land is so expensive there. Maybe land in the mountains is cheaper.
Chrissy was about to get you Tim.😂
So much I'm a small package.😆
Nice open property they have- I'd guess having trees again would be desirable? Might want a mud-terrain tread or luggy all-terrain if you end up doing much of that. Not sure what is available there, but Falkan Wildpeak A/T3Ws are great all-arounders for traction (sand and mud for you), and maybe a reference to compare what is available locally. Those terrain in the wet field roads is ripe for lugs that clear material easily. Nothing I saw on camera looked that bad to me. My comfort level is a lot higher than average with the amount of offroad exploring I do.
some gravel might help too but you are correct about upgrading the stock tires. i have Mastercraft MT's on my 1ton dump truck & they are great
gorgeous property , the views are priceless i hope the roads will be fixed by the government at some point!!!
Will be fix in 50 years
Sounds like a flood plain, windy, no not a great location.
Wowwo too wide that area very nice wide properties...
Wow, that was a crazy ride to this guy Frank's place. It looks like his land there would be good for farming. Good informational vlog Tim. Take care, God Bless you and your family!
Farming is one of our source of income here in my country.
I know little of 4 wheeling other than driving a jeep or deuce and a half. A good friend told me to stay in 2 wheel until you got stuck and then shift into 4 wheel to get unstuck
OK you have an FJ. nice. I love mine.
Nice garden,,,,
Wow nice
