Tim, enjoyed watching ourselves on your video blog. Thanks for the visit. By the way we loved being isolated by the Seaside. The people here are very helpful and accommodating. Take care and best regards to you and your family.
Thanks for sharing your experiences with Tim.... your perspective is appreciated. I'm also trying to make sure I comprehend the math on the land... .so we're looking at $48K for a tenth of an acre? Thanks! Best of luck!
@@dbf5803 I'm sure price varies by location but this equates to about 2 acres seaside and we paid $50,000 for the land about two years ago. Hope this helps Best regards, Frank
Nice Tim it’s been 2 years that last time I have watched your videos and now your back there and with a family , it was cool to see you back , its amazing !
Nice couple. Their house and property are very nice. The floors were awesome too. That was quite a ride getting there. Enjoyed seeing you, Chrissy and Dale taking a family vacation. Hope to see more. I laughed so much when Chrissy had to clean you up and tell you something about getting dirty. Brought back memories. Used to think Dad’s couldn’t stay any cleaner than the children while misplacing things too lol. I guess Mom’s around the world just like the family looking presentable! 🤗

Deary I keep hearing about storms hurricanes in around philpines I guess there was a recent storm? Wow I hope you peeps got some heavy duty (raised - beat flooding too) concrete pile foundations with steel structure frames some thing I'd be looking into for long term security against severe weather conditions...

You are right about 4 wheel drive . Once you stop in the mud . You are screwed ! You must plow through it with some speed . I have seen it once in my life time someone got in a four wheel drive ; axle deep all because they stop in a middle of mud . Then they tried to turn around in the mud .... In my area we have farm tractors with track trend instead of wheels . A footnote ; your friend will need at least a couple tons of 4 inch rock ; then layer with a couple tons of 2 inch rock ; layer with a couple tons of 1/4" inch rock for drive way . Especially the bad area .
Wow, that was a crazy ride to this guy Frank's place. It looks like his land there would be good for farming. Good informational vlog Tim. Take care, God Bless you and your family!

Emaciated cattle. I was in the Philippines. My son in law wanted to cook steaks. He went to hypermart. He really knows how to grill. The steak had the texture of rubber. You could not chew it. Then I remembered some emaciated cattle on our way to a resort in Batangas. I should have said something before he bought the meat. Pork, Chicken and Goat are staples. Cattle are not.
Yeph... the US has ample of feed supplies such as hays, soy, wheat, corn and whatelse they can import even from mexico... The Philippines has very little landscapes for the cattle owners to use to supply for their feeds.. Most of these cows just eat the grass without the other options why they are far less skinnier than the ones in the US. the landscape availability, financial assistance all play roles in cattle farming.
Nice open property they have- I'd guess having trees again would be desirable? Might want a mud-terrain tread or luggy all-terrain if you end up doing much of that. Not sure what is available there, but Falkan Wildpeak A/T3Ws are great all-arounders for traction (sand and mud for you), and maybe a reference to compare what is available locally. Those terrain in the wet field roads is ripe for lugs that clear material easily. Nothing I saw on camera looked that bad to me. My comfort level is a lot higher than average with the amount of offroad exploring I do.
well tim, i have seen homes being built, the internet set ups, and the air conditioning of some. I wonder, how come there is no mention of dehumidifiers.
Philippines is one of the best places to own an FJ cruiser, you will really use the 4WD and have fun with it. Over here in the NJ , you have to pray for the snow to come for you to use it , or you can go to someone else's farm just to get it muddy. FJ cruisers are getting extinct in the market and my chance to own one is to buy it in the Philippines . Im hoping to find one when I get back home this year.
