I bought my drone so I could take pictures. It has a 4k camera. Cost was $400, but it flys for 25 min and has a range of 4 miles (which the battery would be dead going that far, so it's not coming back). Pictures are amazing. Gimble keeps the camera steady. Great for video's. Have 5 batteries so I can fly for hours. DJI mini 2 is considered the best beginner drone.
I’m a blogger and I really wanted to learn how to use a drone so this is a good low level way to start so I didn’t have to worry about killing $1500. But the quality of the camera like you said sucks, but I didn’t get it for that. You definitely can’t use the camera to fly with because you get disoriented. Also, I’m on my second one because the first one I got wouldn’t fly it would only spin. I did a reset on the trim. I did a reset on the gyroscope. Still spinning. What they said was probably wrong with somebody put the rotors on wrong or of the compass inside. The drone itself was dysfunctional. So I took it back the next drone I got worked wonderful, however, something happened to the battery, I was out flying it and it was actually doing pretty good in the wind now like I said it’s low level but to get used to flying a drone and learning your maneuvers. This was a great way to start without the stress of the financial burden being completely washed up if you trash it. I don’t know what happened to the batteries I ended up having to batteries cause I got to keep the battery from the first one in the charger so I had to chargers two batteries After I had a really awesome flight, I use both batteries and when I came back into charge them know I had no problem with the drone it flew until it just started landing itself because this battery is dying. But anyway, I hook the charger up to a battery on my computer. The light came on I’m in the kitchen. I came back over and it’s off I thought well there’s no way in hell it’s charged up yet. So I tried it again With the other charger nothing. Tell Michael damn did I mess up his battery or maybe it’s the chargers I don’t know how can both chargers go how can both batteries go? So I tried the other battery. It wouldn’t charge either. So I have no clue what just happened. Like I said I had a great flight. Nothing wrong with the drone, so what the hell just happened to my batteries at the same time? Was it because maybe they were stored a long time at the store in the boxes the battery drains so when you charge on my doesn’t hold an accurate charge, I don’t know. But I’m puzzled I’m really bummed because I had some good intentions for this weekend.. any thoughts??
I have this same drone. First let me say I bought a drone from Ollie’s for $20.00. It was very very basic. Difficult to control. Just what you would expect for the price. Now the sky rider is a different story. Easier to control. True the video is not that good but I have had fun with this drone.. for the price I give it a rating of 8..
I agree. When it comes to cheap drones the companies can take out the camera and put more resources into making more or better batteries 🔋 Happy Holidays!!!

How do I start it
There should be a switch by the battery I believe. Ours got stuck in a tree 😅
