Laremy is gonna get to a point where these penalties are unacceptable, right now he's being bailed out. But these things usually come back to bite teams when it matters.
The Texans defense was in a bad mood after the Bears defense started messing with Nico Collins. Nico was throwing tacklers off of him. I don’t think that I have ever seen him so angry. I was afraid that he was going to get another penalty.
Nice to think positively - that is - if the Texans go virtually .500 the rest of the way (i.e. 8-7) they end up with 10 wins. It's tough to second guess D. Ryans, but does anyone know what went into the thinking one the first half 4th and inches after Diggs laid out for a near first down? Why go for the field goal at that point (Mixon was still running well). I was surprised. I feel like going up 17-3 going into half would have been more representative of how one-sided it seemed. Anyone have an explanation for the sudden improvement in kickers across the league suddenly hitting from over 50 yards?
