Building a Mini-Nuc

I am building four mini-nucs to add to the apiary. I want to split a package of bees to save money. I will purchase one package of bees plus three additional mated queens. I will divide the package of bees between the four mini-nucs then add the caged mated queen to each mini-nuc. I will keep each mini-nuc sealed up a day to get used to their new queen then open each up rechecking the mini-nucs two days later to see if they have released the queen. I will keep you posted on the progress.
