I bought layer crumble today. Its now $14 for 50 pounds...not bad at all. I have been using horse bedding pellets and although its only 8 bucks for 40 pounds, its just not as satisfactory because the urine can really get stinky as the pellets break down and I have 2 out of 8 cats who do not like the feel of the pellets and have been going in a box with puppy pads for well over a year. I tried tossing the sawdust, that forms as the pellets dissolve, onto an area of the yard that was just an unused, rough, sorta weedy spot and that sawdust basically turns into almost concrete when it gets rained on! This chicken crumble sounds way better and right now, that back two rooms where the litter boxes are smells mildly of molasses. Reminds me of the sweet feed we used to buy for our cattle. I dont know if it will continue to smell better than the pine pellets, but I can hope! Thanks for the video. I realize its been 7 years but its my first time to find out that chicken feed can be used as cat litter!!

GOOD LUCK FOKS! p.s. sometimes it takes a day or two in the sun.. i put them on the hood of my car or truck bed, and that works well...

Hmm... I was planning to use a recipe for chicken crumbles litter I found on a website that called for using sweet PDZ for odor control and no sand, but I ran across this video and I think I'll try your recipe first and only try the other if this doesn't work for us. Thanks so much for sharing this! I initially was looking into crumbles for litter as a money saver, but the more I've learned about clay litter's effect on my cats' health, the more I want to make the switch. Just got to do my research so as not to stress out my furry children when making the switch and to make things easier on my hairless children, who have scoop the boxes.

You name and decorate your hives nicely. I did a split yesterday off a huge hive I have and they already got the queen out of the cage BUT too many bees went back from the split too. Now I'm trying to figure if it would be best to leave them to grow on their own or add extra bees. I don't want the new bees to kill my queen though idk. I'd normally leave them alone but I added like 4 frames of honey bc I had so much extra and I'm worried because I don't think there's enough bees In there to protect the resources.

It is around $200 to build with the hive and stand. I’ll have another video showing the stand- really easy and sturdy build. The 2x12x14 is the most expensive piece! It is meant to be one hive....I’m just utilizing it as four this spring for splits. I don’t know how it will work but am going to try. No, no queen excluders. I am sure one could be adapted to fit.

I work out 5 days a week- does not have to be hard workouts- walk or jog a bit. I also concentrate on building up muscle because of metabolism. I like a ten frame better for honey production, I do like an 8 frame box to let them build though cuz it seems like they build faster. everyone should know that can pull a frame out of my time and sticking on Nook box or something instead of lifting the whole box off at one time.. I run all deeps brood chamber and honey supers are Deep's, having all the same size equipment is way better, Plus a medium box ain't big enough unless you're rich you have to buy a box by the frames and good flow they're going to need another one a week later... Don't make sense to me, if they're too heavy just pull a frame out not the whole box..

Hillside...How have you been doing lately. I've been getting better for the most part. Though my TSH is not great (it's at 4.8). What's been working for me lately is taking a good quality multivitamin. Tracking my nutrients and calories on cronometer.com (making sure I get enough calories everyday). I'm taking 5000iu of vitamin D a day also. I'm still gluten, dairy, soy free. Also limiting processed sugars and a little honey or maple syrup here and there. I do have a hard time getting enough vegetables. Probably should make some smoothies. An I am working on exercising each day which I understand is important for conversion of T4 to T3. I do believe I don't covert well. I'm on T4 only medicine and am having a hard time getting it to work. I recently switched to the name brand Synthroid 2 months ago. I think it's doing better than Levo, but still not perfect. I still have to give it some time. I'm currently taking the equivalent of 94 (half an 88 pill and a 50 pill). Once a week I take 100 (2 50 pills). My issue is if I increase the medicine, I get anxiety and jittery. But at this dosage my TSH is fairly high at 4.8. When I was on 100 levo, I was having major anxiety and other hyper types of symptoms. I've had bad luck with doctors and functional doctors. I'm going to be seeing a new endocrinologist in a bigger city soon. This will be the 5th endo. But the functional doctors have not been too good either. One was a complete scam and the other was pushing supplements without testing. And the supplements were not normal ones and didn't agree with me. Sorry for the long winded post...just interested in how you are doing and if you have changed anything recently.

      Latest labs on the Synthroid were similar to Levo, but FT3 was up slightly: TSH 4.829 uIU/mL (0.350 - 5.000 uIU/mL)| FT4 1.01 ng/dL (0.70 - 1.25 ng/dL)| FT3 2.6 pg/mL(1.7 - 3.7 pg/mL)

careful to much hea tkills the flavor profile. bag it in gallon ziplocks and let it sit in direct sun on a hot day or in hot water not boiling.. much easier cleaner and less harsh on the honey it all seperates rthe same and u can u se the bag like a frosting spreader to squeeze it out GOOD LUCK@@ecv03
