anyone notice the logo on the wall happens to be the well known "T mobile" logo & this wasn't a call centre it was one of the manufacturers of the phones
It was a former command and relais center of Telekom. Prepared for war with bunkers and solid construction.

Excellent vid as always Ben. What is the small 'box' for that appears to be hanging by its own little 'pulley' at the front of the crane beside the base of the Jib. How many of these cranes does this contractor own - am I right at 4, also has this one been re-engined as I notice there is no sliding door on the back and I presume that is what the 'silent' means.Damn good operator I don't think he missed putting that ball where he wanted it at all.
+Christopher Lovelock I'm not sure how many MENCK cable excavators he has, but it's a mass - over 20. The box and his cable is a "rope donwer".
I don't think he had a clear line of sight. This guy was amazing.

The concrete gives the building its skeleton, and bricks are used to fill in the cavities.
think back to the second war remember Germany took a hammering in the same way the uk did since that war germany have made sure that every building they construct wont fall down as soon as a bomb hits it which is why they chose reinforced concrete instead of wood & bricks

14.50min. incredible how stable german roofs were built. there are only estimated 25% of the supporting structure of the roof there, and it does not fall down itself! german craftsmanwork
That was built to withstand bombs or so. A former German Telekom building complex.

German product. The silent version means the motor sound is more silent than before.
Schönes Video. Aber alte Technik. Ist das heute noch wirtschaftlich so abzureissen? Denke das ein Bagger mit pulverisierer da viel effektiver wäre.
Die Maschinen sind lange schon bezahlt, sparsam im Verbauch. Mit nem erfahrenen Fahrer geht das denk ich genauso schnell.

Firma luff als Subunternehmer der Firma Sauerbau. Der fahrer des menck ist herr luff persönlich
Und meiner Beobachtung nach arbeiten auch nur Luff und seine Mitarbeiter mit der Kugel schwingend ohne Hilfsseil was gerade dann in einer unheimlichen Effizienz resultiert wenn man wie die Luffs auch was von Gebäudestatik versteht und weiß wo und wie die Birne treffen muß. So schlägt man in der Abbruchgeschwindigkeit jeden Longreachhydraulikbagger um Längen mal ganz abgesehen davon das man beim Menck außer Seil und Kupplings - bzw. Bremsbelägen kaum Verschleißteile hat.

Zwar interessant zum Zuschauen, jedoch ist die Abrissmethode mit Seilbagger und Abrissbirne inzwischen veraltet. Heute werden stattdessen Hydraulikbagger mit Betonschere eingesetzt.
Was aber hierzulande zu 99% stinkelangweilig ist.

Also, ich bin ja selbst Baustoffkaufmann und täglich auf Baustellen unterwegs, daher ja mal ganz kurzweilig.... Aber ehrlich, wer schaut sich über 20 min Abrissbirne an ??? 5 min hätten es auch getan, würde Serverkapazität sparen.
Einer der unnötigsten Kommentare ever! Warum? Weil ich sehr viele Abonnenten haben, die sich von mir auch mal längere Videos wünschen. Ich hatte eine Abstimmung was die Laufzeitlängen anbetrifft unter meinen Followern und das beherzige ich gerne. Liegt Ihnen sonst noch was auf dem Herzen?
