I actually have one of these from 1999 under the Duracraft brand. This is actually a major childhood fan for me since I had one from 2000 to 2010 originally. Very well built fans if you ask me. On a side note: the information is actually on the bottom of the stand.
The ones I remember I believe were under the Duracraft brand as well. I looked under the stand, I saw a date code but nothing else. Perhaps the sticker has fallen off.
That's so Duracraft, wow. Probably a little rarer than the Duracraft branded one, if there was an exact equivalent. I wouldn't mind finding that someday, the mesh guard is fantastic.
There must have been one very similar, if not identical, under the Duracraft name. I remember seeing them. I like the mesh guard as well, easy to clean, quiet, and not very restrictive.
A few weeks ago I found one of those exact same Duracraft made Honeywell stand fans for $2. It was so dirty that the people running the sale had put a garbage bag on the fan head. It had a date code of 2002, which leads me to believe these fan models were in production starting in the late 1990s.
I think I remember seeing these sold at CVS around that time, could be wrong on that, but I know for sure they were selling these online at that time. Unfortunately today Honeywell no longer sells any fans like this, where they were based on the Duracraft designs. Now everything is different, except for maybe the Chillout Personal Fan, but not sure that is even made anymore.
I remember these being used in the CVS store, so they probably were sold there at some point too. The Chillout Personal Fan is still made as far as I know, and while it looks very similar to the older Duracraft ones, it's not anywhere near as powerful.
Good initial checkout video bro on the Honeywell 16" stand fan that's very dirty it has a pretty good start-up sound to it I like the mesh grilled fans but it sounds very restricted due to dust usually these Honeywell stand fans have blades warped I can't wait for cleaning and servicing video
It's gotta be some kind of way to fix the blade set then it would move so much air but good find bro and can't wait to see part two of this video soon Good video and i enjoyed it
BTW, I have a few pairs of old school scissors from a school that closed a few years back. You probably remember them scissors the teachers used. But you are not as old as me so maybe you don't.. If I locate the box they are in ill send you a pair for your shop..
Honeywell, Vics, Duracraft, and a few other brands were made by Kaz for a while, but I don't think Holmes was ever one of them. These grills are quite generic so I don't think the visual similarities are very meaningful.
Happy thanksgiving. These are major childhood fans
Thanks, I hope you had a good Thanksgiving as well.

I think you're right, they must have been in production since at least the late 90s. I remember seeing them well before this one was made.
I have one of these. It’s the model HS-1750. They even made the black version model HS-1751.
Thanks for letting me know.
I’ve seen this fan also branded duracraft except the duracraft version has a bar style grill instead of the mesh grill this fan uses.
I believe I've seen these under the Duracraft name as well.

No, they don’t make any of these Duracraft style Honeywell fans anymore. And yes, CVS used to sell these.

this one is a childhood fan for me! The model should be under the base, I believe this one is HS-1750 and the black version is HS-1751
Me too. I did look under the base, there was a date code but I didn't see any more information. The informations tag must have come off.
this looks cool
OK
It's gotta be some kind of way to fix the blade set then it would move so much air but good find bro and can't wait to see part two of this video soon Good video and i enjoyed it
True there has to be I just have to figure out how to do it.
I used to have the same fan from 2002 until I gave it to my aunt after her duracraft fan burned out.
Thanks for letting me know.
I actually found one of these on thrown out and it was a 90s model.
These were probably made for a while.
Hey! that is a model HS 1750
Thanks for the information.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and I've since been able to locate a few. Thanks anyways for the offer!
i like it
OK
What do you like about the movie it?

ua-cam.com/video/bIFog12aGls/v-deo.html this must be your favorite song!
That's an awful song, but in the context, it is comical.
CVS Pharmacy still sells kaz fans when summer is coming. Seems that Kaz and holmes had some connection since the grills are so similar to each other
Yeah, I've seen the Chillout Turbo Fans and the Honeywell HV fans. Not as many as they used to though. Too bad Duracraft is long gone.
