You have to remember that it's extremely unlikely that Scotland will qualify for a major tournament in the next 24 years - I'll be 75 then - so maybe, just maybe ... Regardless of the results - these fans made the most of, literally, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - and were a credit to the nation, making friends with everybody they met So, sadly, a lot of great comments from German people are because they know they might not get to experience the Scottish coming back for decades, at least
