Here is the score distribution for this Suikalike! Reminder that original Suika's scoring goes 1-3-6-10-15-21-28-36-45-55 from merging two cherries to merging two melons.
This Suikalike's progression seems to actually follow the same progression as the original! Off the top of my head, I can't remember any other ones that actually use the same one, so that's really neat! There's also some score fuckery with the combo mechanic. The higher your combo is, the larger the modifier that gets applied. I think it goes 1.2, 1.33, 1.42, 1.5, 1.61, 1.714, and continues increasing. Those are rough values, because I got some variable results from my calculations and the base point values aren't super round.

There is a minesweeper app for ios that has had a suika-like on it for longer than suika itself has existed. This reminded me of it because that one is also all circles, but I do still love passing the time with it.

Isn't hardlocking(the game is completely unresponsive, the only solution is to physically restart the hardware) the big brother of softlocking?
@@RoseLexThorneFrom what I understand, crashing is the natural progression to hardlocking, and when a game stops responding it automatically crashes to prevent programs from running in an unresponsive state and causing data to just be thrown into the void for no reason
I think the "bit" they're gonna do with breath of the wild/pointcrow is that it'd be a modded version of botw since Nintendo took down a lot of Pointcrow's modded vids on Botw

imagine suika game except its like lose/lose. like it picks random files on your computer (probably based on the filesizes) and it duplicates them in accordance with the fruits merging. getting the watermelon would copy the biggest file on your computer, thus probably taking up alllll the space on your hard drive. thatd go hard someone should make that
