Hi Ellen, delighted to find this Magical footage of the town. I was born in Hacketstown in 1960 and have great memories - there wasn't much money then, but great Friendship. The Cinema was an old cowshed with a caravan for the projector at the end of it, owen and run by Bradleys. The Handball Alley was just next to it and that is where we spend most of our days. As I said we didn't have much, but yet we had everything.
