Making our own DIY Round Balloon Arch Stand/Balloon Tutorial (Do it your own project)

Today's project is gonna be another DIY project that will be part of our next project (next week).
It is a DIY round balloon arch stand.
We decided to make this since the round stand that we have (7 feet.) is too huge for the venue (indoor) where we will decorate the certain balloon design.
So we decided to make one that will fit the place.
6 feet tall and 5 feet circumference.
The cost is under $50 (around $45.83 plus tax) which not really low since we got the materials from Lowes but still it's okay.
We will use this as an indoor project and honestly for the outdoor we never tried it yet.

The white cabinet that we use is a Bookshelf from Walmart

Always grateful for your support :) the cost is not really like low since it's from Lowes but we were in hurry to make one for someone that wants a certain design and wants to fit it in their home so we were trying to find a way to make one that is smaller since the 7 feet that we have is too high for the ceiling of the place :). Hi! Can you post a link of the decorated stand? I’m not totally convinced it holds its shape under the weight of balloons
I made something similar to this years ago it was fine at first but then so flimsy. I gave in and bought the real deal. It's fine for in house but not for outside. I also added a metal flexible rod in the middle to keep it sturdy. Great job though.

About this stand for outside, honestly we never tried it yet, this is for an indoor project so we don't know if this will hold outside but we will try it outside (in the future) we might use some sand in a bag to hold it as a weight. But the pvc itself, I am not yet sure if what's the performance outside (since it is windy). Thank you.

This is fantastic. I was looking at the price of round stands and they are crazy expensive.
Hello Kathy, Thanks so much. We have one that was a huge one (7 feet) and we got it for $100 plus (with the tax) that was like 2 years ago. It was sturdy though but in our case we need something that is smaller to fit to the place (inside the house) so we decided to make one that is smaller. We never tried using this outside but maybe someday we will try it and will let you guys know how it works. For sure we need something to serve as weight if used outside since it's windy. Hello Vurnis, we had one before it was the 7 feet and we got it for $100 plus (tax included). We made this for an indoor decoration since it was a last minute project, the venue's ceiling is too low so we can't use the bigger one, so we decided to make a DIY to fit to the place and we need it very soon. We also did put the total cost in the description so that people will know how much and from there they will decide whether to make one or buy one. Thank you :)
By the way, the one that we got before was 7 feet so the smaller ones might be cheaper :). Thanks again.

How can I make it more stable without balloons yet! It keeps flopping

It will be like that without the balloon but once you attach or wrap it with your balloons it will help support the round arch and will be able to stand by it self. I don't know if you saw the video where I put my balloon arrangement on this round balloon arch stand. I set it up outdoor and it was even very wendy on that day but it work.
