Revolutionary insights into how the human mind really functions: film by Sylvain Lelarge: DVD and web versions by David Kettlewell - www.lonnygold.com
I'm an ESL teacher from the USA. I tried using this method at a school in Malaysia and the administration reacted by threatening me with immediate discharge unless I ceased using the Suggestopedic method!
The students loved it and sought me out for private lessons. Not long afterward, the school authorities found out about my activities and discharged me. I returned to Thailand and trained one of my adult Thai ESL students in this method for the purpose of teaching me the Thai language. I now speak, read and write the Thai language at the most advanced level! Keep in mind that Thai is a Category 5 language which is the most difficult level. Yes, Thai is right up there with Arabic and Chinese!
In my opinion, Suggestopedia is the very best method of teaching ANY language!!
Emotional meaning on logical structure ... interesting
I think this video is very good. I learned something new today. Thanks for sharing ;-)
What is this about ? Is it about people who speak English learning English? Or what? Please let me know...
+Hansel Jensen These are foreigners trying to improve their English. They do not look like beginners.
+Rick Jones You are right.
Where is the music? A very important part of the Lozanov´s teachings it´s the Baroque music. Where is it?
It all seems good in this film. But what I don’t get is how on earth students at this level (witnessed by what they are being taught) can understand what this teacher is saying; specially with the jokes.
