With regards to the paralleling of the batteries, what if I built my own battery kit with raw cells. How would I configure the primary battery to the subordinate batteries using dip switches if I have no manual? Aldo please try to mention the watts and volts coming in from the panels to highlight to the novice viewers what it is they are looking at. Blessings my friend. 👊🏾🙏🏾
With regards to the paralleling of the batteries, what if I built my own battery kit with raw cells. How would I configure the primary battery to the subordinate batteries using dip switches if I have no manual?
Nice work. I think it is best to connect the positive and negative cables diagonally. So common positive of the first parallel set. Connect positive to battery A and negative to Battery B. That way the charge and discharge is even across the 2 batteries and one battery is not over loaded.. it would also reduce soc drifting which is a thing that can happen with unbalanced parallel connection.
@@GTdontDOthat not true. Lithium tend to have flat voltage curve which is why it doesn't, can't balance itself. You want to avoid voltage drop when you do parallel battery connection and the way to do that is to ensure all battery in a parallel connect get equal charge and discharge. This is why in a 2 battery system like this, the P cable should be connected to battery 1 and negative connected to battery 2 this way the charge runs across both batteries equally.
You hit the point bro. Even blue carbon brand i use usually draw a schematic parallel diagram to that effect . So its best to connect from the first and last battery to equalize charging and discharge irrespective of the number of batteries.
Please Sir can help us do a video load analysis. How to come up with the number of batteries, the inverter rating panels, charge Controller and battery.
Did you run separate strings from the solar panels for each charge controller and then parallel to the busbar? Cos I heard you can series 2 diff brand of charge controllers. How was that connected?
Nice work, but wouldn't it be better if the negative or positive (whichever you choose) that is connected to the busbar be taken from the other battery you paralleled. Like since you paralleled all four batteries in twos, its better to take the positive from the battery at the top to the busbar and then the negative from the battery at the bottom to the busbar. Do the same for yhe other batteries you paralleled. Thus method ensures that you'll draw equal power from all batteries at all time.

All these connections reference SOC drift prevention. But I assure you that SOC drifting is a BMS glitch. Any battery builder will tell you same
