Nari's first performance of an unreleased single, 'Martyr' with a talented group of artists at her friend's home. For this performance, Nari is joined by Ella Webster on the violin, Grant Curless on the steel Guitar, and Melanie Landsittel on the harp.

Each episode of Three Sheets to the Wind is produced in collaboration with the artist to highlight and raise funds for a nonprofit in the region. For this session, Nari chose to highlight ‪@appalshop‬. Appalshop started as a film workshop in 1969, and 50 years later they're still making films about Appalachia. They also operate a radio station, a theater, a public art gallery, a record label, a professional archive, a filmmaking institute, and a community development program - all aimed at documenting and revitalizing the traditions and creativity of the people of these mountains. They tell stories that commercial industries don’t tell. They challenge stereotypes with Appalachian voices. And they do it all with artists who are from and committed to this region. Three Sheets to the Wind is a project sponsored by Appalachian's for Appalachia, who share a passion for music, service, and their home state. The filmmakers that are a part of this series share years of experience working professionally within the Kentucky creative community, building a variety of projects and collaborating with many of the integral artists, businesses, and community organizations throughout our region. Through their collaboration, Three Sheets to the Wind is a platform which seeks to create artistic, visually innovative performance-based video content in collaboration with key members of the music community and nonprofits of the region in order to provide exposure to the important groups who are doing quality creative and community work.
Through each episode of Three Sheets to the Wind, musicians select a nonprofit to support. Audience members are encouraged to place donations toward that nonprofit, and will be given direction on engaging and supporting the mission of the organization.
100% of the proceeds generated by audience donations go directly to the nonprofit organization the episode is sponsoring.
Appalachians for Appalachia is a grassroots advocacy movement preparing the next generation of Appalachian leaders to drive progress in the Mountains. They develop research and policy recommendations that center justice, equity, resilience, and sustainability for our region.
