- How is popcorn harvest any different from regular corn harvest? We use the same equipment, but there are a few details to address to make sure we get a good, quality popcorn harvest otherwise we might lose yield, money, and not delivery the best popcorn when can.

Growing up we always had 160 acres in corn. Whenever you set or reset your combine, new beater bars etc., the first thing you do is you walk behind it.
You're looking for many things. You don't just make a change and keep going. I've never seen it done that way.

It's all on contract. We have a choice of a few varieties that they supply. Nice thing is the contact is for the acres not the production. We can't over or under produce.
I just got a 7200 vacuum planter that I'm working on for this spring. Any thoughts on setting it up for sweet corn seed? I've been using a 4 row 7000 finger pickup and finally got it dialed in. I wanted to run it through the 7200 to get fertilizer and rootworm protection for the sweet corn. Also, any thoughts on figuring out if the hex shaft needs to be pulled? thanks.
