Those buildings are a typical example of meditiranian construction. It’s very artisan and labour intensive with all those beam and block floors. Labor is cheap in those regions. You’ll often see that they use frames with columns and beams with blockwork infill. This sort of construction approach is common in earthquake sensitive regions. It looks rough but with a bit of plasterwork it looks fancy. Still prefer this 10x more over timber framing with cheap gypsum boards that look like cardboard.
6:16 I've stayed in that hotel and there's another hidden ThyssenKrupp lift in the main part which you missed in that hotel that goes all the way to the roof, which is publicly accessible. I think the lifts here were originally installed by a company called Boetticher, who Thyssen acquired in the 1980s and they've since been modernised by ThyssenKrupp. I saw a sign which referred to Boetticher next to one of the motor rooms.
Hey BENO, After you done your trip to Tenerife, can you go back to Birmingham in the West Midlands And Go Down To the basement in the Signing Lift there? I really want to know what it sounds like
@@numbersstationsarchive194 My main interest is the resort hotels. The south has areas of miles and miles of non stop resorts. I didn't see anywhere near as many in the North.
That really is rather weird with that abandoned unfinished resort. Yeah, they really are trying to rip off the tourists in those shops. Great to see an outside lift surf. That duck alarm was really weird.

Just looked it up on maps. I think we skipped that one as it looked too boring. We did the hotel next door with the slightly odd architecture and old Orona lifts
nice, and funny!!!!!!!!!!!
As usual in Spain, they will test the buildings for fire regulation compliance wheen the building is on fire, or even after it's been extinguished.
By the looks of that OTIS 2000E it has the OTIS 2000 cab and buttons but Europa motor and logic? Or is the logic OTIS 2000 as well?
