- In this video, I'll be catching every legendary fish in Red Dead Redemption 2. There are 15 total legendary fish in the game, however the channel catfish is apparently impossible to catch, so I will only be catching 14 of them.

I play on a series S. I've found that casting your lures a shorter distance doesn't affect whether you hook a legendary fish or a regular one. It also means that you would have a shorter distance to reel it in, making the process a lot easier.

25lb largemouth is ridiculous
The bluegill was just sitting in the water in front of me, not biting my regular bait. I ended up just shooting it after 10 minutes, and apparently that also counted lol.

I had so much trouble catching the Longnose gar. It took me about ten tries because I kept catching Sturgeon. At that point I began to officially hate Sturgeons :)
There were quite a few that I found that you needed to get into a very specific spot to get. I edited out a lot of catching Sturgeons too😂
@@Reptac It was also so hard to get the one on the bridge! I caught it then my game disconnected and I lost all my save! I was nearly killed by a train the next time i tried! XD

In the settings you can change it so instead of make the joystick go in circles you can just press a button

You can catch the channel cat fish. If You do the stranger missions to unlock all the special lures he take you to take a photo and hell get eaten you can take his hat the you can fish the legendary cat fish

Fishing in this game 😤.. I court loads of them awhile back nearly finished it then left the game for over a year reloaded It recently and they are all gone telling me I haven’t court them so spent hours trying to catch them but it’s like they don’t exist carnt catch any of them…

Stow on horse and run to strawberry to mail it, make it to strawberry, accidentally run someone over and run horse straight into a tree trying to avoid another person. Walk ofshame as i restow the smallmouth and sprint to the mail place while dude i ran over runs after me trying to fight me. Clerk wont talk to me cause dude trying to fight me, get my ass handed to me in a fistfight, somehow knock dude out, turn to clerk and hand him fish to mail. Leave to go to sisika to catch catfish.*

How did you do the New Austin ones? Did you get there by boat or Horse?
I did it all on my horse, but with mods to disable the sniper
OKay. I just wanted to make sure that there weren't any clues that you had to follow as in the case of the animals just to have them spawn to begin with.
Started at 10:00am finished at 12:40pm took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete, caught all of them great video I would pause catch continue the video pause catch continue the video ♿️

Why do you have this problems? With special lures only the legendary fish will bite and in a matter of few seconds! Pulling them ALL out also requires 15-20 seconds!

I’m trying to catch the legendary fish in west Elizabeth (where your wanted dead or alive) but as soon as I step foot in that area lawmen spawn in literally 20 feet away from me and start killing me. I try to run from them but even more spawn in.
How did you do it?
I used mods so that, that wouldn't happen. I believe I disabled the sniper and I think maybe put on never wanted

How did you catch the fish in black water where everyone is after you I can’t even enter without someone trying to hit me and after all of that there is an invisible sniper
It's a mod called rampage trainer which allows you to disable it
he didn't orient the locations wisely.. while he fishes in the sisika penitentiary he could've gone to van horn trading post which was closer.. instead he goes to the other end of the map and he does this with every other locations too.. if he planned it the other way around then a lot of long trips and time could've been saved😪😑

Sometimes they are in a very specific part of the water. So maybe you're just not getting the right spot?

okay can someone help me please, i had caught some legendary fish before even getting the side mission and now i have 12 of 13 for the side mission but have caught every single legendary fish besides the channel catfish and i’m confused about how i get the 13th fish i need if they’re all caught already
Wait I know I started the game only a month ago and all the baits in the shops are blocked. How do I unlock them? I heard there’s a mission with the little guy from the camp, is that connected?
I'm honestly not sure, I've never had that problem. Where are you in the story of the game, maybe it's something to do with that?
If you haven't already go to O'Creaghs run and do the side mission with veteran and unlock the special lures

Just put godmode on and never wanted it works too but if you dont put never wanted the cops will be on you pretty much instantly

Yeah, I'm not the greatest with music in videos, lol. I also haven't really made a video like this without any chaos or gunshots or anything, so I don't really know how to make it all that engaging. I don't really have a lot of music to work with, either. I appreciate the feedback though, and I'll try to improve upon my music choice in future videos :)

I used mods to allow Arthur to be in New Austin without being shot by the sniper. You'd like to have to play as John to get all the fish, unfortunately.
