It was more my dad and his friends in the 80's that wore it for me. Then as a teenager in the 90's never wore it as it was seen as an old man dad scent by us silly kids. Wasn't till much later like my late 20's I started to wear it( occasionally) and realized just how wrong my teenage 90's self was.
I switched to Brut from Old Spice specifically because everyone wears Old Spice. I like the smell, but I usually wear this as a basic fragrance when I just want to smell pleasant and I don't really care what anyone else thinks.
My dad put me onto Brut and Painaud Clubman because he used to sell them both in the ‘80’s. And so that started my appreciation for these fragrances. Unfortunately, even in its Cologne concentration, I hardly get any longevity out of Brut & the smell seems like it has been hit with too many reformulations over the years that it smells noticeably different
I got scared for life by Brut. One day I was in grocery store and grabbed a Brut to take a sniff since it's been years but the bottle now is plastic. As I had it up to my nose, lady hit me with shopping cart and I shot bunch of it up my nose. It burned so bad. I ran to the bathroom and tried to flush water up my nose. My wife was laughing her a$$ off. Brings it up every time we walk by a bottle.
I have sartorial and it does smell somewhat similar to Vintage Faberge Brut but only after 20 mins to my nose. Brut has been duped and has influenced tones of frags but thier really is nothing quite like brut. Vintage or current formula 😊
Hey bro where did you get or order this verson of Brut cologne? Every time I order Brut cologne on Amazon that has the "Essence of Man" (the one distributed by TCP Hot) picture shown I keep getting sent the Brut labeled "Brut Classic Cologne" which is manufactured and distributed by another company and smells like mouthwash
Not off hand no some say Tom Ford Beau De Jours but I have them both and I wouldn't say they smell very similar other then that old school barbershop vibe
i love Brut and Old spice the original not the other many varians out there
I will always have Brut in my collection/rotation, it's still a banger. I can't remember ever being without a bottle since the 80s.

Wear what you like 👍
In my opinion, the older fragrances smell better than a lot of the newer ones.
Agree

Best comment and story I've herd in a while love it 😂
This perfume reminds me of City Venezia. In 1997 early in the morning i put this perfume on myself and traveled to Italy.
Love when a fragrance has a memory attached to it
@@TheMicMacManiac 😊
A lot of people say that Sartorial by Penhaligon's is a niche version of Brut with a twist. I never smelled it. Did you?
No I haven't either but I've heard that as well
