weekly/daily standups are a great way to connect with people spreaded around the world, and you can assign to them "task cards". You can have around the table too, but I would recommend not to stretch it to hours long meetings. Don't be afraid to use technology, voting systems ( like polly ) and shared files/directories or project management or note taking tools.
In addition, use check in with them but not just for work - a 10 min check to ask how things are going with their health, families etc helps your staff realise that you care about them and not just the work and helps spur them on to get work done. It also helps to build trust as well especially when you do more one on ones. Also create coaching opportunities with your staff as they will need it more when you are not together physically.
