Dang bro, New players have it hard when they dont have mentors or someone to help them because BDO is complicated. Even me a veteran with 5k hours on the game have to keep garmoth open and even still look up BDO guide thats like 3 years old even though I have already done it multiple times on one of my character. BDO do have certain things that will make a better experience for newer players but they dont tell you, you kind of have to look it up yourself meanwhile a veteran would know what you need and dont need. Good luck, just came by to check your channel because of BlueSquadron lol
The game is designed around you spending 50 to 30 a month on the subscriptions. They offer 180 day ones for a loy of money but the coupons shred that down by 10 to 20%
I do agree the different convenient buffs are annoying to keep up with. Yes they give out a lot for free, but that's not really the point. They should just merge them all together into one buff. I also agree with what you said about the levels feeling irrelevant. Good luck, hope you find purpose to play again. Enjoy your break!
You will be missed GamingRichard but i can understand you fully i have pretty much achhived everythhing in the game and for me it is also just loging in to PvP and logout aigan since rl is more important to me WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
hey veteran here , there is a solution by grinding trash instead of items best place is orc camp.(they r many places ) another solution is to accumulate all ur drop items to one day sale and buy from loyalty shop 1 day VP to sell them all. on leveling part: the more you level the more mobs become easy (from hard red to white) u hit better and u get like 1 ap every 2 lvls. but optimum is to reach 63. the rest just flexing or ranking to us. like lvl 66. good luck on your break.hope to see you again. :)
For f2p players, you want to save up your items/sell but dont collect until you earn enough loyalties for a vp. Now youre no longer at a disadvantage. I can understand getting overwhelmed and wanting to break.
I can understand the frustration of having to spend money. However they give out a lot of free stuff during events. Also any good MMO has a subscription and you have to pay monthly. You are in fact wrong saying you have to have these value packs. You don’t it’s a choice. Taking 6 months to grind the endless pots. I started two months ago and I’m already done with both my pots. BDO is a game where you put it time and it rewards you. 60 days and I’m 673 GS. Maybe you should take the break and come up with a gameplay on how you need to approach the game a different way.
Yeah, I get the awesomeness of having grinded thousands of hours and having something to show for it, but lately the game has had me feeling like its way more of a struggle than any sort of enjoyment.
Ahh Richard Sad to see you struggle. I agree with a lot of stuff you said, but like tony said just plan out your path. Atleast till 700gs its not too much of a strugle. You also dont need VP to play the game. There are a lot of F2P players that i know who take advantage of the loyalty shop VP and the free ones. You just need to be diligent in how you utilize those in tandem with the marketplace. Having VPs is convenient but not necessary to play the game. An HP and MP pot is necessary even if you're a wizard, you can't always depend on your skills to heals and mp recovery. Especially when during high level PvP. With regards to level equating to power, i won't say levels are meaningless in bdo. Having higher levels give stat bonuses to your character lvl 62 being the most meaningful in terms of PvP but 63+ stat bonuses for PvE but not something that's as meaningful or powered as your gear. BDO can burn you out and i understand your need for a break. Have a great rest and hope you can figure things out and see you in bdo again❤
There are plenty of videos showing a full free to play run to get to 700gs. You dont need all that stuff, you just need to plan accordingly. You also shouldn't be wasting your time time grinding out the pots. Just buy them. It is a lot easier. Also, there is no purpose other than enjoyment. You could have 750gs and not enjoy the game you can kill grass bugs and enjoy it. Its all perspective.
@GamingRichard me neither. All I do is grind and tap accessories lol. I am at 711gs right now with all pen accessories being tapped by myself. My biggest advice would be to make the most of those lucky moments. Just do what you enjoy.
I think his issue is that the free to play 700 gs challenge takes 2 months of 64 hours a week a casual player that would take years not to mention its not a fun 64 hours its running in a circle one shotting mobs, pros of bdo combat cons everything else, the combat isnt really even being utilized in grinding.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I mean I’m taking a break from gw2 it’s a great move really, getting back into real world for a while can’t say I’m staying away forever

agreed with what tony says
You're RNG carried don't talk
@@unsaiddreadgames6007 doesn’t matter I put in the hours and grinded my ass off for the pots.

@@GamingRichard I understand. Happened in the last game I played. Breaks are always ok.

@@cammmlawton Thats rough when working two jobs and rarely having energy left for anything 🫤
@@cammmlawton that is true, but you also don't need to match their speed. You can go at whatever pace works for you.
Yeah you should take a break, since this game is getting boring, there are a lot of better mmo's than this
