The reason for this is that we as the older generation need to give the youth wisdom not orders, let them know where they came from so they.not doom to repeat the past there was a comment about CVL and how the should have drop the conservative portion of their name because of a political position back in the 60"s but in my opinion the brothers and sisters who came before these clicks that lost their lives in the struggles we would be doing them a great dishonor by losing the very thing they gave up their life for, I've been criticized for not having more of the younger generation in it or more sisters in it when given the opportunity to speak on it nobody except the one's that came on spoke, and I must stress this so these youngen know my position with this I am A Imperial Insane Vice Lords one of the only one left that know our II history and some of 22-12 history and is actively pursuing more knowledge of 22-12 to give the complete well rounded non bias account of the story of VL told from all side past present and future, and where we should be headed I've made my choice did my time and what worked for me may help other I've reached a Plato where I no longer need to be in the so-called trenches and doing great things i do not have to prove myself to anyone I can show you better than I can tell you I do not see anybody coming at bo deal? How, I raised my son to be a strong black man, to stay away from gangs, to stay away from jail, & to tell him the history of the white man” government” & my people who were suckered, & still being suckered, by the” people who dropped drugs & guns in the community”. My son saw a man who stayed out of jail, & who provided a home for the family. In my opinion if you can not accomplish the basics, you can not tell anyone anything except, don’t do what I did. You should be saying or be in a position to say” I did not do this or that, & that why I am in a positive position. Like I said, I was under the 5, but I realized early, 1. I don’t have to do this, 2. it’s destroying the community, & 3 I did not want to embarrass my parents. That what you are upholding spread beyond Chicago. It spread down south, where those people were already in a bad situation & just made it a lot more tragic.
