The band’s name is the Liberty High School Grenadier Band; the uniforms were authorized by the Coldstream Guards band. The LHSGB has played with the Coldstream Guards multiple times both in the states and in London. We are the only USA Band authorized to use these uniforms.
To jlvr6racer I just viewed the 9/15/01 halftime show. Both bands should be proud for representing their school & community. It would be great if you supported your alma matter by attending the Freedom/Liberty game on 11/3 @ 1PM.
Yes goldbloke the band held a vote i believe sometime in the 90's about changing the name to Coldstream Guards Band but after having the grenadier name for so long it was voted to keep it. We had already won so many prestigious titles and performed with the guards as the grenadiers..anything else we did as the coldstream guards band (if it were changed to that) would seem like two different bands.
I feel blessed to attend this school with such a fantastic band.

Man I miss this school :/ I would do anything to have my schools band to be like this.

Why do the three majorette captains uniforms constantly change? It makes me crazy.
I think the bands slogan should be "We're not the ONLY H.S. band in the country who has this theme...we just do it the BEST."
