1:56 is chilling if you pay attention to the others besides the soloist. The sopranos if im right on the way right singing in their falsettos and then the rest following it up and the basses comes in with the rest following. just straight chills and better with earphones on
_Moondance_ is one of my all-time favourite songs, and I cannot begin to express how truly wonderful this cover was! I got chills when the singing kicked in after that wonderful pause at 0:13. I discovered you guys just now through your cover of _Sh-Boom_ appearing in my Recommendations and man, I just might be in love…
When I went from undergrad at Columbia to grad school at Berkeley in 1987, I really missed the Columbia acapella singing groups, which were SO much hipper than Berkeley's at the time. While the Kingsmen were doing covers of Talking Heads songs, Berkeley's groups were still stuck on 1950s du-wop. Hopefully, thanks to the internet, everybody is more up-to-date and cutting edge? LOL
Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance With the stars up above in your eyes A fantabulous night to make romance 'Neath the cover of October skies And all the leaves on the trees are falling To the sound of the breezes that blow You know I'm tryin' to please to the calling Of your heartstrings that play soft and low You know the night's magic seems to whisper and hush You know the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love? Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love? Well, I wanna make love to you tonight I can't wait 'til the mornin' has come You know, I know now the time is just right And straight into my arms you will run And when you come, my heart will be waiting To make sure that you're never alone There and then all my dreams will come true, dear There and then I will make you my own And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside And I know how much you want me, that you can't hide Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love? Can I just make some more romance with a-you, my love?
