Pataal lok is one of the series which shows how the political drama,Media actually works and how dark it can be.
It represents how it might work.
Though the system might be more complicated I think.

Paatal lok is perhaps the best series worldwide that holistically sums up all the problems in our society. Every character and episode is so beautifully put together. Really a masterpiece. Kudos to the whole team. I have this series four times.

what a web series this was. Along with the conspiracy which was the main theme, it also portrays the dirty underbelly of India, the caste system which still prevails in pretty much most of India, and child abuse - the outcome of which were the 4 characters who were targeted. Paatal Lol ranks much higher than junk series like Mirzapur which is filled with nothing else besides mindless violence and profanity with the sole purpose of enticing the viewers.
Yes patal lok is better than mirjapur but mirjapur is also quit enjoyable

the way he's spoken the dialogue with so much sarcasm in his tone...'voice of India...??' is priceless!! Jaideep Ahlawat is a gr8 actor,and we need to preserve him,as i genuinely believe that slowly and steadily he'd be in the same league as Irrfan Khan, alongwith Rajkumar Rao. Kudos to the makers! Cant wait for Season 2 now.

That is why its so important to cast the right actors for the characters. Ahlawat, being from haryana, potrays the haryanvi cop perfectly, since he is already familiar with accents, mannerisms and little subtleties of how haryanvi people would speak. Another great example is casting gujarati actor Pratik gandhi as Harshad mehta in Scam 1992.
This is why its important to cast actors from the region the character belongs to. This should be followed in films too ideally, but makers just cast a star who rarely gets the accents right, and hence does pretty bad job depicting the character more often than not.

This series does not have something huge story behind , all it have is NATUAL WAY OF NARRATING FOLKLORE TYPE STORY WITH EMOTIONAL TOUCH , which is just FABULOUS.
