After this video popped up for me last night, I turned off my twitch stats dock in OBS so I couldn't see my viewer count anymore. Worlds of difference. Like zero anxiety/worry about if people were there and if I should be more or less engaging. You're so smart, Mom!

This is some very good advice. I have seen some people stress themselves to quick burnout over not having viewers in their streams, and not being able to quickly build a following. The flaw in that thinking is that even if you do blow up overnight, you may not be prepared for it without having that proper time and experience to know what to do with your community. I saw a youtuber who did blow up suddenly, but backed herself into a corner regarding the content they were creating vs what they wanted to make and ended taking an extended leave of absence.
Regarding talking to yourself. I took a similar approach in that I always imagine I am talking with my younger brothers. I immediately get comfortable in my own skin and it lets me geek out and just be myself. Thanks so much for sharing your insight.

wahooo! 🤩🤩🤩This was so informative. I had my first stream and I didn't realize how hard it is to keep talking to yourself, especially when you don't have any comments. Though being the only one carrying the convo can be draining, I'm so glad I was able to get this information and mindset. Thanks so mucho!

A human told me this abit ago and when I talk to myself or story time with no worry of count, it really helps keep ppl in. Big help indeed

My sis did her first live stream and me and our brother just joined her in chat and kept her motivated throughout.

Similarly like how the hardest the game mode is, the better the rewards. But you shouldn't forget that it's only you playing it. You will feel like giving up as you're going nowhere but just losing very early (typical nature of hard modes) but that's actually the fun part but we don't realize it.
It is fun actually, but only for those guys who can endure everything till the end. Then you will get all the rewards that were promised/featured.

    Another amazing video from you!!!x3
I wanna do a lot of crochet videos and that means I will have to talk endlessly!!!xD I actually tried to tell different kind of stories and wrote down some topics so I won't forget them. It felt weird to be just talking without a reply! But some people watched the vod and that made me happy!x3
Thank you for your advice! It really helps my self-esteem!x3

Probably a text to speech plugin that feeds into a set display box for it
