Looks pretty nice. Little more squirrly than i thought it would be for having such wide rear tires. Group 5 definetly has quite a few interesting cars, keep it up!
Google Group 5 De Tomaso Pantera... this one is almost exactly the same shape as the Carrera model, including all those vents on the hood that you felt you had to criticise! Why not do a little research before you slander something? Hardly call this a quality review....
I stand corrected thank you for pointing this out, as for the hood I was not criticizing it I just felt is was busy, not a knock on it but an observation. Thank you for your comment
@@conquestracingclub thanks for giving the slotcar hobby bigger exposure. I just bought the blue #32 & purple #7 Pantera cars (1:32 scale digital) for my track. PG tires will follow before the stock tires expire too!
a fantastic slotcar, and i like it really, one of my favorite,
i like very much the design and also the rear fat tires.
thanks for showing.
The rear fat tires are cool :)
Nice test I like these , I just picked up this one and the red one for Christmas gifts me and my sister will be racing them both that's for sure!
All Carrera cars are fun against each other

Thank you for your kind words
1979 De Tomaso Pantera Silhouette Gr. 5 racing at Circuit Paul Ricard!
This slot car is actually a pretty fair representation of the 1979 Group 5 Le Mans car. IMO, Carrera knocked it out of the park with this one.

Here's a link for a group 5 1979 Pantera being run on a race track. Lots of hood vents too. ua-cam.com/video/rZPlut43C6c/v-deo.html
