Ok I love the Raconteurs (and basically anything with Jack White in it), but this is best version of the song ever. Adele has the perfect voice for it.
Adele is technically a way better singer than Brendan Benson but there's a HUGE difference between a great interpretation like this and the guy singing and feeling his song that is, for him, a moment that he's living each time he sings it. This version is technically better than the raconteurs' but music is an art and art is only about creation, expression and feeling, not technique.
Not bad but I really thought Adele would have sang this better than the original. IMO Brendan Benson sings it with much more heart but it is his song after all.

@MrSyrenni, I agree with you 100% There are competent session guys who can site read and Lear on the fly, and they do a great job backing up a solo vocalist like Adele, but they usually fall flat on their faces when they try to step up to a pure heart and soul shoot from the hip bad ass gun slinger like Jack white! Just apples to oranges all day!
