    +++++++++++++++++WHO WE ARE++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    We're a family of 8! Nick, Tina, and our 6 wonderful, crazy kids.
    Hey, Nick here! This channel started with us traveling across the southern United States during winter of 2018, and has evolved into a new adventure in and of itself.
    In 2020, we added a new member to our family, moved to our new home base in Tennessee and embarked on another adventure over the summer. In that adventure, I realized that there was a huge need for a rock-solid internet device, specifically made for those on the go.
    When we arrived home in the fall, we began work on what would be our newest adventure - bringing a brand new device to the world that will help people fulfill their dreams of hitting the road and staying 'connected' wherever they are.
    To say I'm excited would be an under-statement!
    We LOVE to explore this wonderful world our God created, and now with this additional calling, we are super excited to see where the road will lead! This channel will be used chronicle our adventures, show the behind-the-scenes details on our family business, and of course, show you the 'out of the box' things we'll come across in our explorations.
    We'd love to have you hang with us. Whether we are in Insty Headquarters, rounding up chickens or goats, or on the road adventuring, it just wouldn't be the same without you!
    Hit the subscribe button, drop us a message, and jump in!
    P.S. ‘Doing UA-cam' has turned out to be one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done, and I hope what you're seeing above brings a smile to your face :)

    Hey, Nick! I can't thank you enough for my Instyconnect! We now have internet in places that we could barely send a text in the past. Having good internet allows us to spend more time camping as a family due to the college courses my daughters are taking. It definitely maximizes our family time. Thanks again!

    Very uplifting channel. It's a pleasure to see how this young man has taken an idea and developed into a business that helps his target audience solve a huge problem in this day and time (maintaining connectivity). And while doing so, he has found a way to gainfully support and employ his family and friends which in turn builds self esteem and person responsibility. What we are seeing here is the American entrepreneurial spirit in full view with one very vital component for success: FAITH !

    If you don’t have an extraction fan for the 3d printer particles, you should install one and an air quality monitor. You can get 600cfm fan for like 80 bucks and just stick it in the ceiling.

    It's great to see that it is a family business. In the upside down world we live in today, many might see your children working like it's a bad thing but those people are generally wrong about everything -- this being no exception.

    Hey Nick
    This video was great. Love the blog idea. I just ordered my second 5G unit. The first was with angle wings and the 5g binoculars. The one I just order was probably in the video in your shop being prepared for delivery. Your design I'd great. Speeds went up significantly from the MOFIs. I have been teleworking for last two years from home that has poor signal. I have tried several antennas but your by far is the best ever. I'm a geek, aerospace engineer. And love your whole project. Thank you

    I'm guessing you program in "python"hence the "snake in the wall"? :-)

    This was an informative video and a nice to know thing, especially for those of us that were early adopters. Seeing your business grow is like watching our kids grow! Personally, I would like to see more "how to videos of the Insty Connect". The video that you did on when you went to Florida and showed everyone how to set up the 4G system, where you ran the cord through your back window was one of the best. Things like that are videos that people can truly relate to. What are some examples for folks that cannot readily climb on to their roofs, how might they get the Angel wings in the air? Or how to use the software on Insty Connect and search for towers and know which ones to choose. (I know you have it in your archive and it is great, but market it on YT as well). How to choose the right SIM card plan? Love how you have your family involved in your videos as well.

    Hey Nick team Woodrose here. We are back from Mexico and had an amazing time. Insty connect provided us with internet at times when we couldn't even get a cell signal. Now that we're back in Arizona we have found the same thing time and again we get a decent Wi-Fi signal when are cell phones with the weeboost can't even get a signal insty comes through. We are going to go to Overland Expo West in about a week. And I know people will ask us about that strange thing in our four-wheel pop up camper window. It lives there and when we drop the Top it just stays in the fold of the canvas material. Lot of people have asked on our travels about our Wi-Fi system and I've handed them several of the cards from quartzite that you gave me. Hope all is well I'll get hold of you soon about the small problem of the clip not clipping into the antenna. Hasn't really been a big deal at all. Take care Nick talk to you soon thanks again.

    Thank you! Thank you thank you!! It is wonderful to see that American manufacturing industry is not dead. You have captured the essence of what American should be about in these times where the quest and lust for money is leading people to treasonous acts against this country by selling out our children’s tomorrow.
    I just love this! Motivating me to start my own enterprise. Nice!

    • @WeCanExploreIt

      If you're using the binoculars, use the aluminum pole only. The fiberglass is not strong enough for either the 4g or 5G binoculars

    AAHHHH I can't believe the snake is homing in your little factory!!! Anyway, just saw that the 4g unit I ordered has shipped! :) Thank you!!! (I'll be sure to open it outside in case that snake hitched a ride out west lol) ~~ What are your thoughts about painting the angle wings antenna white? I'm a little concerned about the heat we will be subjecting this too in Arizona. Have you had any issues in your testing with the modem when using the unit in 98ºF + ? fantastic job all! You are keeping me working and allowing me to do so from remote locations!

    Hi Nick, Do the Cloud Wings offer better performance than the Angel Wings? I have the Angel Wings and Binocular already and rarely need the Binoculars, but I’d love even better performance out of the compact Cloud Wings.

    • @WeCanExploreIt
      @WeCanExploreIt  2 роки тому

      Hey Kurt, they do have a little better performance in the upload, about the same for the download. If you have the 5G right now we have a swap program for getting the new cloud wings. Reach out via the website and we can get you setup. Thanks!

    Ps... Next programming project... Network those Creality machines together into a single management interface so you don't need SD cards and you can remotely start, stop, and monitor what each unit is doing. 😉

    Why not use white filament for AZ area to keep the heat down

    • @WeCanExploreIt

      Because the heat has not been an issue and black holds up better to the UV sun

      @@WeCanExploreIt I live in Phoenix last few years it's been 120+ on the ground... roofs are 15-20 degrees hotter..... I can't see from your cloud design vs older wing any air flow to help electronics stay cooler???? What is safe temperature for filament? And electronic parts?

    • @CLTGeek
      @CLTGeek 2 роки тому

      Might want to put it in the shade in Phoenix or create some artificial shade for it. The filament won't be the problem. It's good to like 220F. The weak point or problem is more likely be the solder connections on the modem PCB. If the modem manufacturer cut corners, you'll know it because those solder connections will get hot enough to reflow and the modem will short out - something Insty can't control.

    Great to see more progress on these. I'm sure I mentioned it before, but did you ever try to add the call passthrough (if using the same sim as your normal phone)? And I don't remember if it's been stated what the cost / plausibility of doing a system that has both 5g and 4g modems in one unit. People who are on the move a lot might benefit from that kind of thing. Anyways, great updates, and looking forward to more in the future :)

      I don't know if you can pass a call to another device as the router has its own number. What I tell people to do it WiFi calling with either their plan or google voice app so they can pass a call that way. Seems to work well

      @@WeCanExploreIt I know there was one similar device out there that had the feature, but I don't remember what it was. I saw it in another video researching devices like yours and they had a way to do it. They had connected one of the old style handsets to the router in a fashion that the landline style wireless phone acted as the cell phones number instead of the cell for the service. But yeah, just thought it was worth asking. Still love the setup and look forward to seeing how you improve it next :)
