🇦🇺😎👍You’ve got all the treasures big fella🏁. Thank goodness for Bubba Cleavers Bugout Superstore…the Weatherby rifles have better stocks than the Howas…Bubba sells nice bolt extensions….nice trigger setting…I love those Vortex scopes…gee that’s a pretty good group🏁…great video😎👍
Great channel 👍 I’m a recent convert to the Howa clan and recently put a Timney on my old CMC .223 . Very good value for money and a definite improvement. My other Howa has the HACT trigger and after a spring replacement I really like it also . Keep up the good work. Ken Central QLD
Got that one for $289 from memory from Rebel Gun Works. It might have been an old price though, and I think supply everywhere is fairly limited. I think this was the only one I could find locally.
They can be rebarrelled. The Weatherby Vanguard is basically the slightly upper class cousin of the HOWA 1500, with a good deal of parts being interchangeable. They are not to be confused with a “genuine “ Weatherby, which is a truely nice rifle indeed. They come in a variety of configurations of finish, with the high end models being absolutely beautiful rifles that are highly valued and, on occasion, quite collectable. The Weatherby Vanguard is also known as a “Poor Man’s Weatherby”.
I have a series 1 vanguard and the trigger is terrible. I tried using a series 2 trigger but it was shorter in the body so it wouldn’t work. How was the fit?

Cheers Mate. The old CMC in 223; got one of them. Had a million rounds through it, but just keeps on going. Great old rifles.
Got a Vanguard 2 in 7mm-08 riding a Boyd’s custom stock. May give this Timney a try. Thanks!
Thanks Mate. I’m glad you got something out of it. Thanks for the support. Cheers.

I'd love to get myself a Weatherby one day. Unfortunately, the opportunities for hunting in my area are minimal, so I need another excuse for my wife.
It’s easier to beg forgiveness than seek permission.

Seemed to fit quite easily.
