They make him the butt of every joke possible. He's only there because these are his "friends" and I bet if he got an offer to co-host on another successful podcast with some guarantee he would be gone immediately.
I really don’t mean to sound like a fanboy when I say this, because I’ve NEVER said this about any artist before, but Juice’s songs really did have a meaningful impact on my life. At this point I’ve spilled enough hours to fill a month listening to his music and it never gets old. Even tho I know most songs by heart I still feel this emotion when I listen. And whenever I listen I realize that his words were foreshadowing his death. He really was a great artist who I think struggled with addiction and mental health more than people knew at the time. Edit: I meant to add that it’s fantastic to see the impact he had after death.
I've had the entire Goodbye & Good Riddance album on repeat for the past 2/3 years nonstop and absolutely nothing got old. I still listen to certain songs almost every day and get the same warm feeling I got from them the first time I listened to them. There's lots of great music out there, but his was next level for me. I hope someday an artist comes up that gives me the same feeling.
@@btxxx I honestly hope there never will be an artist that can top Juice for me. Maybe this is what AC/DC feels like to old rock n’ Roll heads. Or Michael Jackson to old pop lovers. The king of an era. He’s my Michael Jackson. The thing that will make him an icon above anyone else is the emotions and history attached to his music. For me personally A LOT happened in my life. Marriage, divorce, a suicide of two friends. Juice’s music is a remembrance of those painful memories and nostalgic reminiscence of old friends for me. I love his music because it reminds me of my old friends. I’m not sure anything will replace that
Juice Wrld is so unrecognized for his amount of talent. All the old heads will call him a mumble rapper because he made his own path in music and not just lyrical miracle type rap. Serious tension between Mike and George this episode, with Logan being on Mikes side, and calling out George subtlety for talking about Oliver tree behind his back
I think one of the reasons new music doesn't work at clubs, events, etc ... is primarily because people jam and have the most fun to music that they know the lyrics too. So when something they never heard before comes on ... it doesn't have the same feel. Though idk if this would apply to EDM lol
