I am brewing the Brick Road Red Ipa for the bother-in-law. This time I will keep some to condition for a good tasting. www.patreon.co... www.facebook.c... www.littlejohns...
I made this exact brew and follwed the instructions exactly. This was an undrinkable, vile brew and the only beer I have ever thrown out.Good luck doing it again mate you will need it.This stuff was unbelievably bad.
Howdy John, would love to see you do a ranking video of sorts of all the different extract kit brands. Personally just getting back into brewing, have found the Black Rock stuff, particularly the 'crafted' series to be a step above whatever I brewed 5-10 years ago.
The extra pale malt had a impact on the colour, PS if you want one out of the range that pimps up well, the pacific Ale is a gooden. Also the Citra IPA I kegged side by side with an all in Citra IPA. and the BR one emptied a lot quicker than the All in, but both were reasonable Beers
It seems a little lighter this batch, about the same ABV. Though the bottling sample seemed a lot a better. I did pull the dry hop back a bit and made a change to the varieties used. Taster will be interesting on this one.
Look forward to the tasting.
