Amen to that. She can pick a track apart all technical, but Sebastian sold the emotion of the track. It literally tears me apart to hear the sentiment of this track.
So you might want to do full reactions. I was really enjoying it when you cut the video really badly (abruptly). Love your voice and the info you give so let's get full reactions :)
@@lewhitey2544yeah but then he went and made it so complex it's nearly impossible to get right live. even when you have all these notes those runs are hard to get right.
That's literally her job as a vocal coach reactor lol. She's not the first to say that about what Bas does in this song. Sounds amazing but she's right. He can't do all of this now so his technique was a bit poor. Amazing voice but with better technique - and less alcohol abuse - would have found his voice in much better shape now. He can't do any of the high notes now. Only his midrange and the lower end of his high register is intact. He has NONE of the highs now.
Their debut album came out NOVEMBER 1989.....So 2 whole months they were an 80's band.....they were ACTUALLY a 90's band. Non fans don't know that.....ah well
Where can we see the rest of this reaction? I’d really enjoy hearing a more thorough coverage of You’re thoughts on this selection in its entirety. Right away you seem to have a firm or grip on what he’s doing than most vocal reactors I’ve seen so far.
This song was about his best friend he was in the band Guns N’ Roses any and a heroin addiction had a heart attack and had a stroke and he’s basically he hast to be taken care of so I think a lot of this song is built up anger because he couldn’t stop his addiction if you listen to the lyrics she can hearing test saying I didn’t know you would let it get out of hand this far out of hand
Would really love a video about the basics of voice for people that know nothing about "false folds" or 'air' or anything you're talking about. I like watching these videos to try to understand these things. A "For Dummies" video that explain these basics would be awesome.
Why cut out most of the good parts of the song; especially towards the end? Defeats the purpose of reacting to it, and people who have never heard the song will miss the full scope of his vocals. Strange editing.
That's a copout because I've seen other videos playing the entire song. She doesn't understand male vocalists and female vocalists are different that's the truth.
The only problem I heard with your review is that the difference between male and female singers are much different. It's much easier for a females to hit higher sustainable notes than males. Just like it's easier for males to hit lower notes than females. I don't think you truly understand just how difficult it is for males to sing this song. It is way harder for males. He does this song without falsetto which is ridiculously hard. I sing in a band myself and it's hard for non singers too understand why females can sing certain singers like Steve Perry much easier. There's a major difference.
Try some skid row off Oh say can you scream ( vhs video ) or Moscow Peace festival. Some great prog rock Queens Ryche Someone else and Empire. Also prog OGs Crimson glory .
I preferred the live version from Toronto if I Remember You. They bring the band in late and Baz is in too notch. It’s first their first tour. I think I’m Toronto 1989/90
Hi check out big guns by skid row, search rehearsal 2/11 , will take you to preparations for 1990/91 tour supporting guns n roses. Great live performance
Vocal coaches always want to give the attest advice.... Means nothing, he is one of the greatest rock singers ever and been doing it for many years I don't think he needs any vocal coaches advice .
You look like the mom next door but you have shown that if you want to you can sing like him. I am impressed. Go on. Give us a Skid Row cover song by you. Please?
@@wolfpack9958 every singer you mentioned are exactly the same(they bore me), they may round out the top 5, but Bach had more in every way than each of them, and #2 is easily Axl Rose, blows all the singers you mentioned away
The super ironic thing is that Sebastian Bach was the one who wasted time and his youth drinking his voice away. Destroyed his voice and his career in the process, was a huge asshole to everyone. I think today he's kind of changed but I don't think Skid Row ever got back together, easily one of the greatest vocalists to come out of the 90's. Freddy Mercury was still alive at the time I believe so that says enough right there. I don't think Bach outperforms Mercury at all but he's high on the list for sure.
OUCH.. my ears.. LOL.. cool info, but but after the loud demo, I had to turn it off.. each time you did it it killed my ears... just some feedback.. :)
OMG! I HATE it when you vocal coaches BARLEY listen but pause to give us 40 freakin minutes on those 3 seconds. Could you just ACTUALLY listen to MORE than 3 seconds. BEFORE your 40 min break down?
Wasted time watching this reaction. Total disrespect. You couldn't even finish the reaction because you are to concerned if he can still do it today. You are doing a reaction of what he was doing then. At least finish the song. I have never seen a reaction cut it short.
The volume in this video is all over the place....super low, then deafening loud. Please don't use a microphone to imitate him, we can hear you loud and clear without it, heart attack inducing with it. 👎
Damn.... comments don't show promise. And you've already stopped 4 times before the end of the 1st verse - only to acknowledge that you could talk about that later. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. You are not S Bach. Ouch... my ears.
Finally an honest reaction from a vocal coach, though this approach probably won't give you peak popularity. Frankly, most of the Bach's live performances I've seen (online) are kind of a struggle.
this is one of the greatest vocal performances of all time to be honest.
Your damned Skippy it's one of the best vocals of all time.
If you don't like it you are a pretentious FARTKNOCKER.
Hell yeah bud
This dude could F-ING SING. One of the best voices ever, not just rock
Amen to that. She can pick a track apart all technical, but Sebastian sold the emotion of the track. It literally tears me apart to hear the sentiment of this track.
OMG he did it night after night lady , he is one of the most gifted singers in the world and your not qualified to judge him
Absolutely Respected Singer..
Went on to do 4 shows/musicals on Broadway..
Best song they ever did, one the most memorable sebastian songs of all times♥️
So you might want to do full reactions. I was really enjoying it when you cut the video really badly (abruptly). Love your voice and the info you give so let's get full reactions :)
Yeah that kinda ruined it for me
She earned a dislike from me for that!
ME TOO.!!! half a reaction and not allowing the song shine !!!! not to finish the reaction was just laziness!!!
Baz's vibrato does something to my _soul._ Weak-in-the-knees beautiful. 🥺
They didn't think about any of this...they just gave it 110% all the time.
Exactly thats why its fuckin great
Correct...I'm sure he wasn't thinking about how does this note sound at this point and how do I get back to the next....just let it fly
On the contrary gentlemen, I believe thought was put into every little bit of this song. Sebastian wanted it to be perfect, as he is a perfectionist.
@@lewhitey2544yeah but then he went and made it so complex it's nearly impossible to get right live. even when you have all these notes those runs are hard to get right.
It's Sebastian Friggin Bach!!! That dude is a badassssssss! Beautiful vocals on this track.
Sebastian Bach is a vocal God!!
The Wish version of a reaction to Sebastian. A God among mere humans in vocal acrobats in skill.
Don't challenge his methods, Sebastian has full control of physics, he makes it so like Captain Picard.
That's right we still got your back 'Bas lol
That's literally her job as a vocal coach reactor lol. She's not the first to say that about what Bas does in this song. Sounds amazing but she's right. well he's been doing it for 30+ years...feel he knows what's up...
what happened to this video?
Their debut album came out NOVEMBER 1989.....So 2 whole months they were an 80's band.....they were ACTUALLY a 90's band. Non fans don't know that.....ah well
January 1989
Where’s the rest of the song? Where’s your reaction to all of it?
Let us know when you play Wembley Stadium 👍
Or sing on 2 Broadway musicals!!! Bas was DEFINITELY one of( if not the best) vocalist of the late 80’s, early 90’s.
You’re not going to react to the whole song???
Moving on
That was Bazza's vocal masterpiece
To answer your question, yes he still has the same voice
That's total bullshit he blew his voice out he can only dream of singing like that again
@@bearwilton9551 lol you’re entitled to your opinion, I just disagreed :-) and that is OK
This song is about his friend . The drummer at the time of Guns and Roses who was addicted to drugs and this song is about his downward spiral.
?????? You cut 90 percent off the song! Sad!
Where can we see the rest of this reaction? I’d really enjoy hearing a more thorough coverage of You’re thoughts on this selection in its entirety. Right away you seem to have a firm or grip on what he’s doing than most vocal reactors I’ve seen so far.
I’ll try uploading again- UA-cam copyright issues but I can petition to have the full one release
@@morethanjustavocalcoach That would be awesome thank you

Las canciones de skid row en 1991 cn ese álbum y Sebastián Bach eran de película... Lima Perú
Check Skid Row Breaking Down Live. I think it's from 95 he sounds great live
Iconic vocal of hair band days. I'd love to go back to the late 80's

why was it cut short? bummer
He can't sing like that anymore.. it's sad because I love Skid Row ❤

She said why in the description & it's also mentioned in comments, that UA-cam wouldn't let her upload more than she did.
That's a copout because I've seen other videos playing the entire song. She doesn't understand male vocalists and female vocalists are different that's the truth.
And he's Canadian which means he's part of the British Empire and, as such, I'm proud of him like a brother.

you should consider not ending so abruptly, it was so nice and the bye bye lol
So this wasn't a reaction you were just telling us what not to do instead of giving him some credit
Damn .. right when it was getting good
Video finished before the big climax, pointless watching this clip, it doesnt end.
Look at you with all the nice guitars behind you..looks like my house

Well that stinks. Maybe cut out the official video and see if they'll let you share your thoughts without the visual.

Most so called vocal teachers on youtube sound like shit with their broadway theater voice ,this dude made his mark
Shut it , in the 80's he was considered the world's best singer , so you dont know what talking about cause he still can sing like that
Please don’t try to sing with him you are blowing our ear drums out and yes he can still blow them notes up
The best Rock Metal singer of all time, no arguments can even be justified
Whoa, pump the brakes there, Sparky!! He's probably top 5, but Geoff Tate, Rob Halford, and the late great Ronnie James Dio are ahead of Mr. BACH.
@@wolfpack9958 every singer you mentioned are exactly the same(they bore me), they may round out the top 5, but Bach had more in every way than each of them, and #2 is easily Axl Rose, blows all the singers you mentioned away
