I was too big of a tomboy at 12 to have a boyfriend, but I knew some girls in 6th, 7th grade who had boyfriends, usually just a guy they liked that they would hang out at school with sometimes. We didn’t have cell phones back then. I can’t judge the victim or her mother’s actions because some kids do things without their parent’s knowledge.

He’s a 13 year old and police already talked to him. He was probably at home at the time and he told police that he could hear men talking in the background while she was on the phone at the gas station. The police said they looked over all that footage from the gas station….and so the boyfriend wasn’t on it….but these other men were.
