I have to reiterate. The more I watch the fallen state, the more I see how little Jesse follows the doctrines of the Bible. Yes He's hilarious, but not someone to take biblical edification from.

My both grandparent families were Christians and anti communists as also we have grown up Christian. I fully understand that after WW2 bad things have happened, even in my families, and I‘m really sorry, though I don‘t know her family story. In communism we have had good companies, absolutely open boarders for us and great schools. Yugoslavian passports were very much loved worldwide to have hence you needed Visa just for Iran and Iraq. We have had contracts and good foreign affairs with lots of countries, eastern and western. Russian didn’t like our openness as also didn’t like Americans, but they tolerated it. Slovenia has been called Switzerland of the East. Then the war came which lasted 20 days. The war went on to the rest of Yugoslavia and on “some” grounds USA today has a base in Kosovo after NATO has attacked the sovereign country. After Slovenia joined to the blue flag “nations” opening the boarders to foreign global forces and anybody, also giving our sovereignty away, so we have to play according to the rules of the „good ones“ and to cut relationships to the „bad ones“, companies were sold and we are just the work force for others, this sad model is being seen all over the eastern block. Of course there are some great companies which adopted to the new world. But to say it in words of the fighters of the independence war: “We have been fighting for freedom and sovereignty and not for this, to be slaves again.”
Otherwise Slovenia is a very proud, clean and green country, I hope some day we could get our real sovereignty back and stand up for our nation. I would wish that Dr. Grabar would connect to the roots of her ancestors to draw a picture in all colors.

Far from perfect, but Yugoslavia had immensely better living conditions than the rest of the communist countries at the time. Probably because of "Tito style communism" often referred to as Titoism, and the early split from Stalin and USSR.
