if mbx made them more, like the new freighliner and put a decent trailer on them, i would def buy convoy again, i bought the new fire engine and rocket carrier, i gotta say, i wasnt imoressed. however the moving parts fire angine and 1971 range rover are awesome!
grey silver package is the 2nd gen, blue is 3rd gen, gen 1 was red in purple called "BIG RIGS" produced for about 6 months, before lesney changed them to Convoy.
The Interstate truck trailer should have come with a white Peterbuilt cab. The Kenworth is from the horse trailer. Love your videos just wish we could get the red editions and the sets here in the UK
16:57 me after having that truck for as long as I can remember as a kid, wait that’s how blue that is? Do more convoy please. I do wish they made the trailers sold individually so you could mass em more
I like the big 18 wheeler trucks from both side of the pond. But I want them in a 1/64 scale like DCP, MIniGT or GL. Obviously they are much more expensive due to the details and such. I don’t only want them for their details, but also the fact they are 1/64 and they just look better together with other 1/64ish cars like MBX, HT or real 1/64 scale cars like MiniGT, GL, AW etc. The post in the MBX truck is like you said the rivet spot. As I understand the body has to be riveted together front and rear after today’s standards for child proof safety standard. So you can’t use the hook method for assemble the base to the body on cars and trucks meant for children. Only on premium HW cars like the Mercedes Benz E36 estate custom where the base is riveted on front and the rear is “hooked” on the body where the license plate is, because it’s meant for adult collectors
Hook assembly has always been a much better design and its rare to find a model with this build to just fall apart. The rule is obviously for a reason but I feel like whatever that reason was is was an isolated incident.
you can really see, where the company changed hands, the quality just tanked, if matchbox want to win back the crowd, they need to roll back to 1981 scale and make the series fit, not just keep throwing out different stuff and hope it works
Supa dope Va n da building 804.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thanks for pointing that out. It still pairs with the trailer very well. Reds are difficult to find here, at least they are for me.

Very blue indeed.
Show more trucks. Do you have any from DCP?
Just a couple. A few First Gear as well.
LMD, nice models from Matchbox I feel like the trucks at the time were cool though rediculous by today's standards. Plz reply
Can you do a review of the Hotwheels steering rigs series?
I only have one steering rig. They are very hard to find a very expensive but if I can, I definitely will.

i only have the big convoys from 2010-2012
Showcase matchbox. Convoy. Additions. New. And. Old matchbox
That's a copyright date, not the year the model was issued.
For the date underneath the casting yes but on the packaging itself it depends For some reasons
That's true.

Yeah, its a shame where Matchbox was so long ago and has never really gotten back to again.
