As I said, I will still be posting some segments I would like to share (not a lot, but there are some), there are some skit compilation videos I would like to upload and two evolution videos I would like to share, and hopefully in the near future I will get back to my top 10 favorite Sesame Street moments series videos. But once those are posted, that’s it for my channel. I’m fed up with UA-cam just continually aging like milk each passing year. But it’s a website run by bots in the end, so 🤷♂️
Awww, I’m sry to hear about your channel, I’ve been a subscriber for a long time..I completely understand and totally agree with what you said. As a Gen Xer and having 1 kid that’s a millennial and one that’s a Gen Zer, both grown ups now..how different things are now with parents compared to when my kids were little to when I was little. I’m glad that they’re raised. I don’t think I’d want to raise kids in this day. I just wanna say thank you for all the special, rare and classic SS clips you uploaded through the years, they were greatly appreciated!😊

Good afternoon, LJF! I just downloaded this video and then listened to it. With all due respect, and I understand and agree that UA-cam has come to take all this "It takes a village" stuff too far. UA-cam is not a babysitter, and it should not be expected to do parents' parenting for them. It's had to make a lot of sacrifices just because some parents are too lazy to take responsibility for what their children are exposed to.(People can even choose to exclude certain TV channels, like Comedy Central, which does show some raunchy stuff.) However, I've come to believe this modern-day parenting theory of yours, and a lot of others seem to have it too, is a very easy thing to assume due to the way technology has evolved. In the previous generations, it didn't have the same versatilities. My brother and my sister-in-law have two children, a son and a daughter, and they are very responsible parents. (My niece was born in 2008 and my nephew in 2011.) But I sincerely believe that every generation has had its share of responsible parents and enabling ones. Who knows, if UA-cam had been created in the 80's, people in your situation might have still had the same problem. And I noticed you saying that you have had some entitled brats as subscribers whom would, instead of asking nicely, would just rudely demand you upload a certain thing, and I assume that's why you don't take requests. But you mentioned blocking those people because it is unfair to your respectful subscribers for the rude ones to ruin everything. But on the same token, it's kind of unfair to the likable and kind-hearted youngsters of Gen Z for the entire generation to be seen as a bad one just because of the undisciplined ones. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't see entire generations as lazy and entitled, just individual people. And the "overrated" thing you said about babies and children did not make me angry at all, because I understand you mean "overprotected" when the parents should be doing their part and protecting them from online creeps, particularly those men in their forties who prey on young girls by pretending to be a teenage boy. But again, the same problem could have existed if UA-cam had come around in an earlier generation. I'm glad to hear you're not shutting your channel down, and I truly hope I did not offend or upset you with my view on your theory, I just happen to, while I know bad seeds and individuals exist, advocate against the good ones being overlooked too much. Hey long time no see, I haven’t been active on my channel after I quit almost 5 months ago, it’s nice to see you again, and I mean you, not your content or videos. I agree with everything you have said in this video. From UA-cam marking videos Kid friendly, to parents not giving a damn about discipline, or not caring what their kids watch or do on UA-cam, it’s been a problem for every other UA-cam channel. And of course I have gotten multiple demands to make videos back then as well, and it was frustrating to deal with. And of course having no comment section. It’s not so much fun not having people comment positive things on UA-cam videos anymore because of this crap from the CEO. Anyways, I just hope everything is OK, I hope you stay safe.
I really do appreciate all the content you do; very nostalgic. Also...dare I say that Gen Z are the worst generation ever! This is why we see ppl on Reddit, because of fouled up parents and how they raise others! Still I'll be looking forward to your future content. 😊
It’s kind of weird because some videos that I make like Sesame Street and Teletubbies aren’t immediately marked as “made for kids” I mean some do but some don’t which is questionable… and I do have to point out that I disagree with kids and babies being overrated… they are actually more smarter than we give them credit for
I just personally think the world is extremely biased to both…. Like if women choose to get an abortion, shame on them. That means they LOVE murdering babies. If someone doesn’t want to be a parent, shame on them. That means they’re prejudice towards children. If something is marked as “18+,” shame on them. They’re only being ageist towards minors. It also doesn’t help that it feels like most children nowadays aren’t even planned and these parents act “shocked” when they discover a baby is on the way. And as I said in the video, it feels like discipline is extremely non-existent nowadays and kids are just allowed to behave however they want and get/do whatever they want. I’ve seen it in real life with my own eyes. And anytime some form of (loving) discipline is used, shame on the parents. That’s child abuse!
People should have a right if they want an abortion or not… mostly do if they’re not ready to be a parent yet or if they go through with a child it could Harm them in someway because of health issues… I know that sounds A bit terrible… but there are reasons why people get abortions and not always because they don’t want to have kids… and we shouldn’t blame kids for watching whatever they want on the Internet… because half of that is the parents fault for letting them go on UA-cam and they could stumble upon things that are not made for kids…
