Preeta Acharya wowww Preeta props to u being able to handle going to classes back to back everyday! I have two to three classes a day with large gaps and I don't think I could go to almost all of my classes in a day. Congrats on declaring your major! You will kill Neurosci!!! Much love from a fellow college student (I'm a freshman)💕💕💕 Question: How are you doing/feeling? Junior seems like a lot of work at a glance.
watching this video makes me wanna work even harder than now to reach my goals ,everything in this video is so inspiring and the way you are deviding your time for studying and Dancing/practicing ... is so good thank you for making my day I like when people share such things. Hope you keep on doing this LOVE &SUPPORT from an ALGERIAN KPOPER/IGOT7 💚💚💚💚💚💚🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦
I've applied to Princeton, and I was considering how I'd fit into the school, and watching your video made me feel so motivated about my place in this college. It's beautifully made, well done!
I am in love with this video!!! I watch a ton of college week in my life/day in my life videos, but I want to say that yours is one of my favorite. Please continue pursuing this if you have the time and energy to do so! I love how you put a little schedule on the side of the screen! It was really cute and organized and fun to watch you go down the list of classes/activities. I like how chill this video is. It isn’t trying to be like other videos: it is simple and straight to the point and I just really enjoyed it. Seeing you learn korean (through language and dance) really inspires me to connect back to my roots, which I hope to do when I go to college. I am rooting for you!!! This is a great start and I wanted to just let you know that this video is wonderful. Happy New Years!!
I love when people film like this! It’s SOOOO relaxing! I’d love to know more about you and Q&As or whatever but this is like- satisfying and I’m kinda “glad” that you’re new to vlogging.😂❤️😩
Class of 2017 alum here! Really loved seeing so many of my old favorite places in this video (especially as a Psych major, dance minor, too). Your vlogging style is great, and having the schedule pop up throughout was a nice touch. Congratulations on your major declaration! Hope the rest of your semester goes well :)
Love this video! The first video I ever saw by you was how K-POP got you into Princeton. It’s crazy to see how time flies. Good luck in all your classes especially ORGO! Glad to see that you still love K-POP, and did you hear about EXO’s comeback in November?!!
Hi Preeta! OMG you are SO talented! This video is so great, I love it sooo much. Idk why but I always get excited from watching this kind of college vlogs. Maybe it’s because I’m struggling with my college application process right now, it’s just such a burden to me. Essays are super stressful to me since I’m not a native English speaker...so I’m just wondering if there is any tips that you would like to share on that? Thank you and love you! P.s My first language is Chinese so seeing you learning Chinese makes me super happy for some reason...😂😂
Hi Preeta! This video was so awesome to watch. It really solidified my wonderful views of Princeton. Back in late March/early April in my junior year I went on an east coast college trip, and I ended up getting a tour for Princeton on Ivy Day! Luckily there were no seniors anxiously awaiting their results in my group! I am actually applying for the Neuroscience concentration at Princeton and following a Pre-Med track as well, so I'm so glad that I've found a student there that I can live vicariously through until I get my results next March! I'm not sure if you have made a stats video yet, but if you haven't, I'm sure it would not only help me, but any high school student who has fallen in love with Princeton! I do have one question though: have you had positive experiences with professors that teach classes like Neuroanatomy and Life Cycle of Behaviors? I'm trying to get a feel for what the professor-student relationship is like. Thanks so much :)
Great video. I'm a freshman at washu on the Pre-med track, so it was interesting watching the parts of the video concerning your Orgo classes. Keep it up!
hi preeta, love ur videos :-) this one was so insightful! but i have a few questions if u dont mind: what is a concentration declaration? the one-on-one’s with ur korean prof - are they in front of the whole class? and what happens when u skip class.. like what does absence do to ur record? in orgo, how much guidance do u receive for ur labs and how long does it take for u to write a lab report? seems so tedious! so so sorry for so many questions...but u seem like the most reliable person to ask college questions to
Elaine Leung hi there! A concentration declaration is just declaring your major! You do it in the spring semester of your sophomore year so that you have time to decide what field you really have an interest in. The one-on-one’s are really just you and your professor in their office. With Chinese they were just more pronunciation practice with the textbook, but in Korean we just have conversations about our lives lol so my Korean professors know a lot about what’s going on in my life. During orgo lab you can always ask your TA questions but keep in mind there are also 15+ other students who may have questions as well. There’s also a rush to get things done in orgo lab so you want to be prepared when you come in. When writing the lab report, you write a draft and then turn it in so that your TA can write corrections and then use their corrections to write your final draft. You can almost always get an A with corrections but it also means spending more time on it so getting an A initially is still better. The lab report I worked on in this video probably took me around 15 hours. And I think that’s pretty average.
oh! i was wondering where I saw you from haha. you're yixing's fan! i'm also a neuroscience major! i'm thinking of taking korean and japanese next year but it's alot of work bc it's everyday (currently taking korean for junior year). seeing you do it looks even more tiring lolll
Hey! I’m also looking to major neuroscience and be on the pre med track, I’m so happy I found ur channel. Does neuroscience meet some of the pre med requirements. And how are you finding studying neuroscience at Princeton, is it hard? I’m also looking to go to Princeton this fall semester
Www I want to do neuro science to but idk if I can get into Princeton with 3.5 gpa but I'm still a sophomore so I got time till college but my dream college is Princeton!
Katrina Morgan I chose to take them at different times. I started with Korean in Freshman year, heard a lot about how amazing the Chinese department is and decided to take Chinese alongside Korean sophomore year. There are East Asian Studies/Program Certificates But they require an independent project alongside the classes and I’ve heard from others that certificates don’t really count for much outside of Princeton. So, trying to tie East Asia into my neuroscience thesis or writing an independent paper on East Asia seemed like too much work given that I just enjoy learning the languages. Tl;dr: I chose to take them out of interest but you can do it with the goal of an East Asian Studies Certificate in mind!
Preeta you're such a hardworking person... Honestly i became dizzy... You have a lot of classes to attend and work to do... i am a bit scared to go into university...i'm 19 yrs old now and currently taking a-levels... And in two months time i will finish it and next year i need to join a university to do my degree... A lot of thoughts are going on in my head for example i don't know which university i want to apply or which course i want to take... And if i want to enter a certain university my gpa should be more than 3.00 and i'm scared since the final exam is coming up in a month plus this is the last semester and been busy with loads of assignments and presentation, group works and so on... Can you give me some tips on how to organize everything properly... My schedule is so messed up and since my friends will text last minute if there is a class is way more bad
TCP IP I just meant “department” in a colloquial sense. Since it’s how people often stare their majors. PNI is often used to just refer to the building. But thanks for the note my dude :)
Is there a K-pop club at Princeton? If so, I would love to join! (if accepted in Princeton lol) Can you tell me some of your experiences in the club/activity?
Don't know what youtube brought me here, but ya, princeton, kokopop, premed, neuroscience, isn't this my daughter? 😂 you can guess who she is from my name haha.

Can you make a video about Princeton and stats that got you in??? And tips for college apps/standardized tests?
Hi Preeta! OMG you are SO talented! This video is so great, I love it sooo much. Idk why but I always get excited from watching this kind of college vlogs. Omg it’s my dream to study Neuroscience at Princeton!!! I applied there this year :))
I love this video so much!!! Please make another video about your study at Uni !!
very very high quality video, love watching it. Hope there are more coming!
How in the world do you manage having five classes in the same day. Don't most students take four per semester total?
So you suggest that they graduate in 5 years since there's two semesters in a year and 40 credits are required
You are so cute when you wrote “老师对不起” on the subtitle lol Have a nice day!

I go to Princeton high school and its always weird seeing vlogs of my town haha
Great video. I'm a freshman at washu on the Pre-med track, so it was interesting watching the parts of the video concerning your Orgo classes. Keep it up!

This is really interesting. Premed cannot be the easiest thing. I wish you luck. :)
I loved your vlogging and editing aesthetic! Preeta, what camera do you use?
This is what I want to be doing in the future!
Your name makes me feel that you have some Indian origin!
Komal Mangalam yeah I was thinking that
Komal Mangalam nah she’s Nepalese.
Not just her name, she looks partly Indian and oriental. Nepal is in between India and China so it is possible she has ancestors from both countries.
@@calvinnotklein6368 she's the prettiest nepalian girl by far
Oh my god! We use the same oil cleanser!
Hey I loved your video! I wanted to know is there a specific certificate program you chose to take both Chinese and Korean?

How good is their track and field team?
