    Can £100 Ferrari be better than over 3x more expensive Lego Technic?

      They're not accurate. On the proto type the designer had the correct rims which look way better but sadly CaDa supplied these generic rims. I'd happily spend a bit more on the correct rims.

      The Cada set was a nightmare. I’m an experienced technic builder and actually gave up in the end. Building it in that modular fashion is just plain stupid and some of the pieces are very flimsy attached. I don’t even think the finished article looks that great. Compared to other Cada sets I’ve built it was very poor.

      @ yeah it’s a difficult build. Mercedes Amg one from Cada was better.

    The metallic red SF90 is exactly what I wish the official 1:8 Lego sets to do nowadays instead of incorporating that stupid gearbox that takes up way too much space and does so little. Adjustable suspension and working convertible function is excellent. Looks great in this shade of red as well, I'm sold on it.

      @@notdarkpls Guly set surprised me.
      I personally would pay a little extra for RC version. Lego is overpriced for what it offers.

    Very in depth video, it's refreshing to see people give a real chance to different brick brands. I'd love to see a comparison with more recent sets from CaDa, like the 1:10 assasin xr (mclaren p1) or their most recent 1:8 mazda rx7 veilside
    Keep up the good work!

    The coloring issue is a massive thing with LEGO in general. LEGO also likes to hide its design flaws, build quality and especially their choices of coloring the interior by using large pieces and lots of stickers. 400$ for an inaccurate design with lots of coloring issues, barely any prints (if any at all), unintuitive building techniques, lack of features, lack of playability and looks that just aren't enough to use it as a proper display set (like you can with the CaDa LaFerrari) and these massive gaps everywhere, are simply inexcusable.

    i have the cada and have completely fixed the gaps and errors, but in yours (im not tryna start and argument) is built kinda wrong with a lot of gaps, just a few angle change for the front really, so not too major but it would make the car look a lot better. Also, great video

      @@What-l5t thanks. No need to argue , I said it’s a difficult build 😄. How strong is your car? Those connections where regular bricks attach to technic ones are just too weak. The whole idea of those connections is bad. They should improve it. Not just CaDa but others too.

  • @alfanovanta
    @alfanovanta 4 дні тому

    Very nice comparison, thank you! I didn't know these 2 other brands. You should use a wider score range to fit the obnoxious price Lego asks for its SP3. That being said, it looks the cleanest and perhaps most accurate (I should hope so, being an official licensed set), which could be another topic of comparison.
    It's a shame CaDa doesn't come with better rims but there are replacements out there. Also, what do you think about the internal color mess? In Dutch we call it kleurenkots. Not only the shit load of blue pins, but lime, orange, yellow etc. I personally hate to see such a mess, especially when opening the bonnet or the doors. And why the blue pins fff sake when it's so easy to use black ones? CaDa is very good in just providing the most realistic colors, being black, gray and red. Granted, being mostly black it will be harder to build and read the instructions but I prefer the looks in the end. I still need to build mine, but, like you said, it's the most difficult build, so I'll keep it for last, after the CaDa 488 and Daytona Sp3 I already build. Meanwhile I've been building the smaller Ducati Panigale and might get the bigger one soon. There's still a Ferrari 312T F1 in my backlog as well. I do like the yellow SF90. I'll take a better look at it. Keep it up! 👍

    • @Mr.Bricksteen
      @Mr.Bricksteen  4 дні тому

      @@alfanovanta thanks. Probably they use so many different colours so it would be easier to find certain type of bricks. What I like in Lego is that they split bricks in small bags. You don’t have to open too many at once so building is easier and quicker. Ferrari F1 to be released in March. I’ll get that one as well.

      @@Mr.Bricksteen I hate Lego for not putting decent rear wheels on their models. Besides, the CaDa Alfa Romeo F1 looks at least as nice, is wayyy cheaper and has prints. And option for remote control ..... Lego is charging € 230 for only 1300 pieces.. and stickers! And no decent rear wheels .. on a licenced set! I mean, Lego come on already!
