Shaan and Sam - you guys bring great life stories to us. Each episode has a surprise or many. Love the curiosity and life adventures of each guest. This episode was very entertaining. Persistence, and naivety - stumbling forwards in a foreign country. What a cool journey. Thank you!
I was listening and heard 'Rascals' when he was talking about the Diapers... I have a pack right next to me, as an Australian first time Dad living in the Philippines, partner swears by that brand!
@Shaan....that is the question...the mindset!!!!How on earth for such daring and blind entrepreneurial moves? This is NOT INTUITION but unconscious grit!!!
Hi guys, I’m 19 years old and currently working on my first startup. It’s an app I’m building solo, and I plan to release it online soon. The process has been exciting but also challenging, and I’d really appreciate some advice from you. What’s one thing you wish you knew when starting your first business? Also, any tips for staying consistent and focused as a solo founder would be super helpful! Thank you for all the inspiration-I’ve learned so much from your channel, and I can’t wait to put your advice into action!
Hey great ep but I think “rags to riches” is a bit disengenous. Quick wiki says his parents owned the matangi dairy factory and he went to a leading independent school in NZ. Zuru’s wiki states a £20,000 dollar loan from parents for business to get off the ground. Most likely a multi millionaire family. This is not to take anything away from his phenomenal achievement . But this background information which was omitted from the interview adds context as to how a 18 year old kid has the gumption to wing it in China. Nonetheless - incredible story 👏🏼
Am I supposed to root for this guy? 15 minutes in and I've heard about him roping an unknowing Buyer from Kohl's into a lawsuit and talking a lawyer into doing something illegal to benefit him and helping to get the lawyer disbarred.
How will a normal human being ever sell something on this earth again? Isn't this killing every other business. Happy for you guys, but cheers to the rest of humans still living
