Attention to details as always guys. These updates are fantastic really enjoy your workmanship. Pity sealine are no longer. Am amazed you are able to get al the spares required to date, no doubt as you have said you have certain items personally manufactured. Work behind the scenes must be horrendous getting your next phase arranged 👏👏👏👏👏
@@redproweb having worked in construction for the past 40+ years and been a boat owner for 10years you both amaze me on how professional you both are, best wishes and good luck for the rest of your quest. Regards

Do you guys think that other sealines of the same model suffer from rotten balsa to the same or similar degree as yours or do you think this has only happened to your boat because it had only been partially completed and left ??? Interested to know your thoughts, im also replacing rotten balsa on my storebro biscay but my boat is nearly 50 years old , it’s horrible job , so I feel your pain ,
It’s probably unlikely other Sealines suffer these problems to this extent. Unfortunately at some point in the past somebody felt the need to screw down the teak decking which has been the cause of all our rotten balsa core. As you say, not the nicest job…
I think the water penetration through the a-pillar to upper deck joints will be common if the sealant hasn't been maintained in a water tight condition and we went to great lengths to prevent this happening on our boat. Feel your pain too Nick 👍
You dudes certainly aren’t afraid to get into it and do it right! Good work!
You’re tearing into that work so hard the togs are falling off you 😀😀

Thanks. We’ve been lucky so far in sourcing parts. Lots of Googling 😁👍
Thanks for the appreciation John, we do get sucked for several hours down rabbit holes on Sunday mornings, searching for parts and for information.

@johnrimmer5955 Many thanks for the praise John but not sure we'd agree 😀
Fibreglassing upside down is just the worst isn't it!! Made a lovely job though.
Your so right, always end up wearing more resin than goes on the boat 🤣
Great work guys! Sure enjoy the videos.
Thanks so much!
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
