Good work. Ready for Gekcoat
Good job .😀
Thanks 😁
Lots of progress this week, looks very good!
Thanks!
Better and better.
Great update as alway, however I did notice Richard had gone AWOL 😂😂😂😂. Amazing what fibreglass covers and how strong it becomes once set.
🤣 My first holiday of the year John, spot of scuba diving in the Red Sea
@@redproweb Great hobby Richard I am a BSAC diver myself. You were missed on the latest vlog mate.
Send some videos of diving. I dive in the northeast Atlantic in Maine. Getting nippy right now.
@@johnrimmer5955 Thanks, back to the grind since. Getting a bit chilly although fitting heads floor and bulkheads so can have the diesel heater on 😁
@@rogerroger7734 nice, my favourite dive spots were Socorro Islands off Los Cabos and Galapagos of course.
Always enjoy the Boatholic project 🙂Having seen the amount of rotten balsa-core you've repaired due to poor detailing I'd never buy a Sealine boat...
To be fair to Sealine, the only reason we have damaged core is because somebody decided it was a good idea to screw the teak deck down, otherwise it would be fine.
boys, toms looking over you
Can you guys get any “nidacore” over there? In my opinion it’s better than balsa core. Looking good though!
Nidacore is available in the UK. The core should be fine now we have filled all the screw holes in the deck.
Suprised you wouldn’t have used a more structural fiber like biaxial 1708 over the structural areas.
Thanks for watching ! The original layup was chopped strand. We are following Lloyds approved layup. All just checked and approved by a surveyor 👍
