I love Palafin's design, and I like the concept of it being stronger after it first switches out, only thing I don't like is how crazy high its stats become on transformation. Scarlet/Violet's power creep with their newcomers have been getting out of hand, lol!

Imo, I'm liking slow start just for the lore of it (Regigigas in a coma so long so its systems need some boot up time) lol. Suggestion: maybe each turn of slow start Regigigas got a stat boost or something, that way it gains too after waiting up slow start turns, and is still better during ha-ha

The tera type reminded me of captain planet. Maybe there's another nickname for it
my palafin set is Jet Punch Drain Punch Ice Punch and Flip Turn, i run Adamant max speed max attack with boxing glove, it boosts 3 of his attacks and the ability to avoid contact has come in clutch, i run tera water for the MEGA jet punch damage but tera fighting or ice might be nice too.
I have a Terra grass one I plan on using with Terra blast for opposing bulky water types
A punching gloves set with jet punch brings even more pure destruction xD

i was thinking about the punching glove held item, jet punch ice punch would get boosted by 50% and would ignore stuff like rough skin and rocky helmet, i'm not sure if it learns fire punch or thunder punch, but yeah you could also run drain punch with it, seems like a cool way to sweep after you buff with some other pokemon and baton pass to palafin
Paladins punching moves:
Level up: Jet Punch via reminder and Focus Punch at level 55
TM:
Ice and Drain Punch.
